Nothing to complain only thing i would like to notice is when you pay at the restaurant they ask a tip before the normal payment... for the rest i've had a good stay and the food was also okay. For breakfest i had some taken with me from the hotel it was perfect.

Overly hot on a summer's day, near to a noisy motorway, plagued by mosquitoes as a result of leaving the window open, strange smells and yet A comfortable bed Friendly staff Cheap! Clean Plentiful breakfast and reasonable restaurant food reasonably priced Interesting articles for sale throughout the hotel I would go back.....

we stayed here's for only one night so that we could watch World Cup speed skating. The room, was big enough with a small fireplace, though we couldn't get it to turn on. There was a small foyer in the room that gave more space, but for us wasn't used. The beds were plenty comfortable and clean. The bathroom felt...

My first stay in Heerenveen was lovely, sadly the visit was let down by one of my worst hotel experiences ever. I'm a very frequent traveller and do not often write reviews. The Haje Heerenveen is cheap, but dated, tired and with some serious problems. First the rooms are tiny and with very basic standard. Second, visiting in summer the...

My mother and I visited the hotel's restaurant for lunch recently. The selection of main dishes resulted very sparse for my mother who is a vegetarian. Hence we decided to take a light lunch instead. We opted for a meal salad dish with goat cheese. There were hardly any green leafs in the salad, instead an exaggerated quantity (in comparison...

I would say that this is a good hotel for couples or business trips. I was there for business and the rooms were good. Basic but good. The food was very good. The location is good for transport (right next to a motorway) but I am not sure about sightseeing. Probably a little too far from everything else. The stadium...

Nice hotel with a homely atmosphere, excellent beds and a nice breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice.Too bad it's so dark in the rooms, but otherwise very good. The hotel is situated near a junction of highways. We come here again and again, when we visit family in Heerenveen. We really feel at home in this hotel.

This hotel is old from the outside, but rather modern inside. However, there are some unrenovated rooms left. Breakfast was good. It was not busy in the hotel.

“In the summer stay away from the rooms facing the canal at the back, hopefully this could alleviate the insect situation. Ground floor probably better than 1st floor for the heat situation. Better yet, choose another hotel.”
