The New Bath Hotel and Spa re-opened in late summer 2016 to once again be Derbyshire's premier boutique hotel. The bedrooms are bright and spacious and provide travellers with high levels of comfort and complimentary wifi. The hotel's Brasserie restaurant serves modern food using the best local produce. Modern, clean, comfortable, spacious rooms with very helpful staff. The food in the restaurant was top class - delicious and beautifully presented. The only draw-back to the hotel is the number of stairs which wasn't a problem for our group but must be taken into consideration if you have mobility problems .

We had a lovely couple of days at this hotel, staff very helpful. Good location for exploring the area. We had a very good meal in the brasserie. Looking forward to going back again. I would ask for a lower floor next time as no lifts it is a listed building

This hotel is close to Matlock and situated in a beatiful area. It is comfortable and charming, and the room was sparkling clean. There is a beautiful view from the lounge/bar area, although the menu here was a bit limited. The breakfast was good, with lots of healthy options.

We took a two night midweek break and it was so peaceful, the food was excellent. The room was a nice size and the view over the pool and gardens from the balcony was very tranquil, definitely stay there again.

Lovely hotel. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Food in the restaurant was amazing. The best we have enjoyed as a group on tour for a long time. Really good value for money. Thoroughly recommend this hotel but do not expect good Wi-Fi. We struggled to get a good connection.

I think you could try riging them and ask.We had the garden room which sounds lovely but is the annexe of the hotel. The room was fine but the buliding looked so ulgy like a old Butlins holiday camp block.I would definitely ring say its your birthday and you would really like a room in the hotel. When we went we did ask for a room in the hotel but they were fully booked. We didnt pay any difference in price so i think it just a case of if they have a room avalaible. The annexe is connected to the hotel and you can walk through.Have a lovely birthday

It’s not a huge distance. If you walk up the promenade you’ll get there. It’s not miles away.
