Family meal and soft play. The kids love it here, the outdoor play is fantastic, the pub has lots to do, skittles, snooker, indoor play at an extra cost and swimming pool. The weather was wet so the children used the indoor play which was fine. They are older kids so ok to be left un supervised. Meal was ok, we had roast, I would not order that again as was very bland. My childrens meals however were great.

No Waie 2 Play site so reviewing here. Have been coming to this soft play for several months now, usually first thing Friday mornings as its the quietest. Today we were a little later and arrived for the 1pm slot. We sat down for food at 1:30pm when 5 adults and one infant entered, carrying pints of lager. Unsure if purchased at the cafe or brought over from the hotel. They began to start using the equipment and filming each other on the equipment regardless of other children around. Immediate safeguarding issues with alcohol around small children and duty of care, especially disappointed as staff didn't seem as bothered by it as we were. Unfortunately this has spoilt an otherwise fantastic soft play which has od challenges for younger kids. We won't be returning.

Unsafe for kids and families. We came to the softplay and we came at the start of the 1 o'clock session unfortunately the experience was completely ruined within the first 30 mins, when a large group of adults with pints came in and started throwing themselves around and shouting and filming everything which obviously made me and partner very uncomfortable with our little ones, who were scared to go on slides in fear of getting knocked around by tipsy adults, we have come plenty of times in the past and enjoyed ourselves but now are worried about ever coming back because this had been allowed and so could happen again. I would recommend a change in policy from the waie inn not allowing adults without children in the soft play and not allowing alcoholic beverages in the play area, or at least have staff intervene if these policies are already in place. So disappointed that we no longer feel our kids would be safe in somewhere they so enjoyed visiting. We left almost immediately.…

We did not know this was a family concern but I have to say they know how to look after their customers. My wife and I went for a meal and we have to say that the prices were quite reasonable and the the food was cooked wonderfully, especially the chips. The atmosphere was good and Holly one of the family who served us was very friendly. We actually had a wonderful Knickerbocker Glory. This is the first one I had had for over 20 years and I cannot remember it being on sale anywhere in that time; Thoroughly recommended.

We recently celebrated our daughters wedding here, with family coming from afar, the whole weekend was amazing, from the accommodation, breakfast was lovely and the food at the reception was exceptional. The whole experience was more than we could have hoped for, the gardens for the photos, the play areas and pool for the children, the staff and support from Sue, made everything flow really well, it all accummulated to enhance the whole weekend. The wedding service was delightful, the reception flowed and the photos in the garden were lovely. In the evening we had a buffet and a disco and again, Sue and her team arranged the DJ and food and like everything else went well with all the guests having a brilliant time, not one single complaint. The accommodation was very good and Sue had arranged the rooms so that our family were together which added to the whole experience.…

Staying here with my 10 yo twin girls. The accomodations is excellent, comfy beds, soft quilts and enough pillows. The standard of equipment is good kitchen, lounge and bathrooms ( 1 ensuite). We have our dogs with us. The Waie inn itself has lots to offer. Swimming and Waie to play are free, you just need to book your time slots There is Skittles pool and squash courts. The outside play area is well equipped and maintained. Then there is the food. Good selection well cooked. The service from the staff goes beyond what you would expect. Food can be delivered to your accomodations. I have not met a single staff member who not willing to help. This is so refreshing. In summary, would I come back definitely. The Waie Inn is an example of how a holiday destination should be run. Well done to all and thank you for the perfect break. …

Went for 2 night stay as my daughter was getting married, we were impressed with facilities and the attention we received the morning of wedding, the gentleman on duty went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and more. However on returning after wedding we were treated completely differently, my daughters special day was put under a shadow because the staff on duty that evening weren’t very accommodating, came across as rude and looked down their noses at us, breakfast the next day was completely opposite of the day before, we were a party of 8, there was 3 slices of bread to use for toast, only a quarter jug of juice which even when we mentioned this wasn’t topped up, we also had to ask for teas & coffees which was offered to us as soon as we entered restaurant the morning before. The staff on duty the evening of April 4th and morning of April 5th need lessons in customer relations!!!! Won’t be back.…
