We stayed here two nights last week as a treat for my birthday, a lovely welcome from the owners when you arrive, we stayed in room 1 on the ground floor, absolutely spotless with plenty of storage, after a good night's sleep, we went for the full English, lovely local ingredients and plenty of it, Hornsea itself is very quiet and peaceful, recommend a trip up to Bridlington. Would we stay here again.... absolutely, thank you for the lovely welcome and not forgetting the Marvelous Tonto, who likes a little piece of sausage saving from breakfast, 🙂🙂🙂

Bostin in the Black Country means very good/perfect and The Ashburnam deserves this title.
We booked one night very last minute and what a little find it was.
Our reasonably priced deluxe double overlooked the sea and had a large bay window. This makes the room very light and airy. It is a delightful room; clean and tidy with an ensuite. There was everything required to make ourselves a cuppa too.
Debbie and Colin made us feel very much at home and "Tonto " their dog is lovely to have around..
We really enjoyed our breakfast and my husband said how nice the coffee was. We were asked several times if we wanted more toast etc.
Ashburnam is positioned well and the town is a comfortable walk away. .
We were in the area to see the Albatross at Bempton Cliffs and it was a pleasant 30 min drive away {we struck lucky on our second day}. Spurn Point in the opposite direction is around 1 hour. Great location and we will return as soon as possible

We had a very nice overnight in this B&B. Parking was easy on the roadside opposite but a number of driveway places are available.
Our room, on the ground floor, was clean and spacious with an excellent Wi-Fi connection.
The hosts were very friendly and we enjoyed several chats about various things!
There was a substantial English breakfast with good coffee.......but no poached eggs.
I thought the whole package was good value.

A great one night stay with very friendly hosts.
The new owners of this property have done a great job throughout in a short time, well decorated and very clean.
Very friendly and sociable hosts make you feel comfortable and welcome.
The rooms are compact but comfortable and clean.
Self service tea and coffee at breakfast with a good selection of breakfast cereal and fruit juice and an optional full English.
Free car parking and WiFi.
Won't hesitate to recommend to others or return ourselves.
Good job guys.

A relative booked the B&B on our behalf for a family reunion. The room was pleasantly decorated with an en-suite shower room and a stunning view of the sea.Breakfast was lovely and hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We would book again.

I stayed a couple of nights when visiting friends in the area. It's conveniently situated near the sea and a short walk from the town centre. I was in a Single non-ensuite room, which was reasonably priced and comfy, with a toilet and a shower room not far away. The breakfast was good and the owners friendly.

We were made to feel very welcome upon arrival and throughout our stay at the venue. Rooms were very good and the sea view was a great view to wake up to in the morning. Can’t fault the two owners who were very friendly and great with our little boy… even if he constantly kept saying “oh no” to them 😂. Will definitely visit again next time we visit Hornsea. 5/5

Our first ever visit to this lovely guest house which has a fantastic location on the sea 🌊 front and views that cannot be matched! The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional and it is literally home from home! We were in room 4 on the 1st floor at the front which gave us great sea views. It has been recently refurbished and due to the size of the room it is more like a junior suite with first class facilities. Colin and Debbie are great hosts providing a great breakfast and friendly service, so thank you 😊

Just arrived home from 3 nights at this lovely little guest house. Lovely hosts Colin and Debbie couldn't be more welcoming and friendly. Our ground floor room was cosy and comfortable and immaculately clean. Informed by our hosts that this room will shortly have a total refurb. The guest house is very central (just behind the Marine), just a stones throw from the beach, so no need to move your car once you've parked up unless you're planning to go further afield. Would highly recommend a stay here.

One night here as part of a 3 night tour on our motorcycle. Warm welcome from Colin & Debbie and secure parking found for our bike. We were in room 4 which was newly refurbished, spotless, warm & comfortable with a sea view. Colin gave us several recommendations for places to eat & drink which we took and were not disappointed. Great nights sleep and awoke early to see a fabulous sunrise. Fab breakfast, cooked to order and perfect in terms of quality and quantity, endless supply of coffee as well 👍. Can’t recommend this place highly enough - thank you Colin & Debbie.
