Detailed Reviews
Longbeach is an attractive well managed park set on the cliffside within walking distance of the pleasant little town.
Much of the negativity seems to come from former caravan owners who felt pressured into moving on post pandemic. Static sites are in a wave of gentrification at the moment - they are businesses and have taken advantage of the demand for new caravans by 'staycationers'. Nothing stays the same however and things could be looking dramatically different by this time next year.
I would thoroughly recommend this park if you are confident you will be able to manage the running costs for many years ahead. It's definitely in a lovely spot and the experience of owning your own weekend retreat is unbeatable. Good luck everyone.

Had a weekend away here with the dogs and thoroughly enjoyed it. Quiet area, not a commercial beach which was good.
Nice quiet caravan site and very clean - lots of dogs about and a nice area, quiet little village which has some lovely restaurants. The park had everything we needed

Beware if you are thinking of buying a static van on this park. All purchasers are given a time limited contract (either until the van is 15 years, or now 20 years old for brand new vans or a 5 year contract on an older 2nd hand van or whever is left on the contract if you buy privately) but the sales staff without fail will tell you not to worry and as long as your van is kept clean and tidy you will be given a year on year contract. For more than 30 (yes THIRTY) owners this year, they were asked to upgrade to a new van (30k+) or leave! It does not matter if you are a good payer, model owner or a pain in the butt, if your contract date is up you will be told the same as the 30 + owners this year. I have seen grown people crying at the prospect of having to sell up (for next to nothing!) A 15 year old van is around £1500 to £3000 to a dealer!. We left this park this year even though we were offered an elusive year contract (but only after we said we were going anyway so not sure how genuine this offer really was). Please do not trust the patter of the sales team, look for another sitecwith no age limit.

We have now owned our Holiday home at Longbeach nearly 2yrs .... its has been an absolute godsend .. my hubby had to go through a very complex 5 artery heart bypass at the beginning of the covid pandemic so 2yrs ago this month he was extremely poorly ... I honestly do not think his health would of improved if we hadn't had this beautiful place to come to..we were motorhomers and we used to travel alot to and from France and down south..
The park itself is absolutely beautiful clean and well maintained the Team are absolutely lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them theres even a private fishing pond ..
You have your own access to the beach the town is a short walk away there are many many dog friendly cafes and restaurants in town too and theres a lovely pet shop in Hornsea too my little doggy loves going in to buy her cows and rabbits ears...you have The Barn onsite which we havent had the pleasure of enjoying much yet as hubby had to sheild but there is always something going on and we will be able to enjoy this summer ..
There are loads of places to travel to nearby Fraisthorpe beach Whitby Scarborough Flamborough..Mappleton beach for fossil hunters and theres a lovely dog friendly cafe there too ..
It really is such a lovely place to come to and plenty to do for all ages ..
You definitely would not regret buying a holiday home here it's just beautiful xx

I would strongly advise not to buy a caravan on this site. The management are very unprofessional. Once you have bought a van and paid for it they dont give a dam. If you have any complaint regarding your van they dont want to know, they do not return your calls and when they do, they tell you to get in touch with the manufactures. The state of the art security is proper naff. The 72yr old warden needs to retire. The owner of the park speaks when he wants and depends what mood hes in. If he does not like you he will do his up most to get rid of you. The park has had no improvements everything is done on mates rates. The barn has private parties which then caravan owner are not allowed to enter.

Avoid Longbeach Hornsea!! Management move goal posts every year and can not be trusted. Had my aunt in tears last year along with roughly 30 others who were told to upgrade or get off. Absolutely disgusting attitude towards long term caravan owners. I would not advise anyone to buy on this site, spend your hard earned money on another site where you would be treated better and with more loyalty and respect.

I have been there 5 years with no regrets whatsoever. The site is beautiful and well kept giving a really relaxing feel. I can't recall ever seeing a member of staff without a smile on their face.
We recently renewed our van and the office team were helpful and not in the least pushy. It concluded with a deal that felt like a partnership between myself and site opening up many more years of happy memories for myself and my family.
The pub on site is called The Barn and similar to the remainder of the site its a very friendly and welcoming place. There's plenty of entertainment for kids and it feels like a real effort has been made recently to focus on that. It's also a very relaxing place and great to call in after a busy week at work ready to unwind for the weekend.
The park suits a broad range of ages and whilst it most definitely isn't a residential park for retired people the community is very welcoming for children and elderly people alike. This particularly suits me as i have young children but its also a great place if my parents want to visit.

My parents owned a caravan here and whilst owners can stay on for a minimum of 15 years with a yearly option to stay on, they were asked to leave after just over 14 years. They had the best part of a year left! This was during lockdown 2020. They were told that more people were buying caravans because they could not go abroad. They are distrustful. Don’t be hoodwinked by the look of the caravan site as it is well maintained. Whilst the owners look after their site they do not look after their customers! If they had not have taken such a cavalier attitude towards my parents, my parents would have eventually upgraded and still be there. They had made lots of friends and it was a tight knit community. Don’t waste your money here with half baked promises of letting you stay. BTW this affected around thirty residents!!!! Be warned.

Lovely site do not trust the management, told we would have total of 15 years with the caravan then year by year, but then last year due to staycation we were told, we were asked to remove our 14 year old caravan. Some one could not add up 2006 caravan isn’t 15 until 2021.
Another 30 were asked to leave too some were really upset. The management said there would no longer be a year by year license extension.
Do not go near this site and if you are on this site check your license.

i very much enjoy long beach, i spend a lot of time here with my family. The staff behind the bar are very friendly and helpful.
I do however would like to approach on the fact my neice has been stopped by a man whilst riding her scooter. He had stopped his car and said “Is that an electric powered scooter” She said yes. As of previous occasions of coming to the caravan site i have seen multiple children on these types of scooters. He told her he to take it home, asked for her caravan number and street and who owned it. Judging a book by its cover it seemed obvious he did not work here. She told him she would take them back now and he told her to drop the attitude you rude girl. Personally i do not believe ‘staff’ should be talking to minors like that but that is my perspective.
Just checking Electrical scooters are aloud or not aloud on the site as bikes and ordinary scooters are as there is no clear indication to say
Thank you very much
