We were in need of accommodation near Hornsea and found this lovely place. It was all a bit last minute as we were teaching in a local school and needed somewhere just to lay our heads. We were delighted by the kind reception that we were given by Julie and Mike. The room was comfortable, there is a pub just across the road for food. I really wish we could have stopped for longer. We will book again.

i had booked this apartment for two nights.i asked for an early arrival they said no problem the next day i got a message saying they had doubled booked and i could cancel free of charge?.i then tried to ring the guest house but no one was answering.i then got a message from the owner saying she could not answer the phone she had injured her arm.so she could text me but could not answer the phone.?by the time i get my deposit from booking.com a month will have passed

Good location to the east yorkshire coast but the house is in need of a total update. Lots of personal belongings everywhere felt like being in a museum. The host was really helpful and pleasant just a shame the room let our stay down.

Absolutely disgusting damp no handles on door unclean TV and WiFi didn't work rug was taped down and laid upside of wardrobe we slept in same room on top of covers we had to leave 6.30am we couldn't stand anymore we stuck of damp

Absolutely spot on loved it, everything was so homely the hosts were more than helpful could not do enough for us, 100% would definitely go back, even when I rang to say i didn't feel great can you leave the door open as the others were staying out she waited for me to come in to make sure I was okay and if I needed anything ,you can't put a price on that
