Detailed Reviews
Im talking about that care home next door but I was wondering if Bob could relay the message that Granny is not doing good in the ward of Hull Royal as her condition deteriorates due to her going through the window at nearly 40mph landing in a gentlemans's lap which lead to her breaking 6 bones and her pride. This also broke the gentleman's bones as well as he was in his late 90s and his teeth fell out at the sight of granny.
We will we not be paying for the new window as Sullivans shall be footing the bill as Baldy caused this.
I hope Derick is recovering well now also.
We will be hosting a wheelchair awareness evening on the front porch of the Fish & Chip shop on Monday 24th of October. See you there!

This guest house is more like a 4 star hotel. The rooms are large, clean and it has a homely feel to the place. The food is really nice as well.I have stayed in some hotels and they were supposed to be 4 star and they were not a patch to this guest house. Keep going back to Hornsea and I always stay at the admiralty. Highly recommend

Bob the owner is a really nice guy, and the friendly service you get is first rate. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Good bar, and the food is excellent. The room cost is very reasonable, and you would be hard to find a better deal for such good customer service.

Room Tip:Â Front elevation rooms are great, our rooms 8, and 9 also had a balcony over looking the sea.

Stayed here for a week. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Tables in dining room filthy and sticky off what I’m assuming is drink from the night previous. Bob the hosts attitude was terrible. Very rude and abrupt. Everyone played poker one night and Bob was accused of robbing the pot which I found very disturbing. His wife Helena was a great host though, very warm and welcoming.

Before staying here you have to realise it is well loved by people boarding there as part of their work. The host is magnificent and the breakfasts faultless but anyone expecting first class decor will be sadly disappointed. Occasional visitors here are afforded the best room in the place facing the sea but my goodness it does need a re-decorate (you have been warned). Hornsea is a lovely seaside resort but short on pubs, restaurants and entertainment - but the residents are extremely friendly. There are a number of fish and chip establishments that are excellent.

Judging by the other reviews we must have got Bob on a bad day. We got a torrent of abuse for ringing the bell to be let into the restaurant area (it's the kind of place where you can't access any of the 'communal' areas) 5 minutes before we had requested breakfast. We had specifically checked with Bob that 7.30 was not too early for breakfast, as we wanted to get started early on our cycle back along the trans-penine trail.

My friends and I (four of us) stayed here after completing The Trans Pennine Trail on our cycles.
We were made very welcome, fantastic breakfast and Bob the proprietor could not have been any more helpful and accommodating - thank you.

The Admiralty is brilliantly placed, right on the seafront, but the main attraction of this B and B was the hospitality offered to us by Bob and all the staff. They always made us feel welcome and valued, and ensured that our group had a great nights stay and breakfast in the morning.
Highly reccomended.
