Detailed Reviews
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a spacious, well equipped, ground floor holiday apartment.
The host is lovely, very accommodating from the very first phone call, right through to our departure. The apartment was full of little thoughtful touches that made a big difference, milk in the fridge, yogurt, bananas, cereal, tea and coffee, really helped us settle in, particular with our 3 year old daughter.
Acorn lodge is in an excellent location, with a small quiet park on the doorstep and a couple of minutes walk to the sea in one direction and the town in the other. Parking was no issue, on the street outside.
This was our first time in Hornsea but we will definitely be returning and definitely staying at Acorn Lodge!

I returned to visit this lovely welcoming place. Heather was there to greet me on a very stormy night 12 February. I received first class treatment. Wonderful room. The breakfast fantastic did not need to eat for rest of the day. Rooms very large and everything of top quality. Cannot wait to visit again hopefully in September.

Acorn Lodge is a large Victorian house of some architectural merit in a nice location overlooking the memorial gardens. It is two minutes' walk to the seafront and three minutes to the town centre shops and restaurants. Rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and well furnished. Heather will look after you very well and provides an excellent breakfast. Worthy of note was a very comfortable bed with nice quality linen. Recommended.

Lovely guest house well run by Heather and her partner . We stayed 3 nights from July 3rd large light room but window in corner so not the best view but very quiet. Very clean room nice shower en suite . Breakfast was very good with lots of choice . Room 5 does have a clothes hanging rail but a wardrobe and chest of drawers for staying a week or more we felt would be helpful , also a shelf in the shower room. Location was excellent being an easy walk to both beach and town . We would certainly stay again when visiting Hornsea .

Stayed over for just one night with my Wife.
The B&B has lots of off street parking and we got a warm welcome from Heather.
The room was nice and although the bed felt hard it was one of the best nights sleep I've had!
Breakfast the next morning was very nice and the small TV in the breakfast room is a great idea as it breaks the silence and gives people something to chat about.
We'll be definitely stating again :)

Just stayed for one night, on a mini getaway. Great location, fab house, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with fruit, cereal and yogurts as well as a lovely cooked breakfast with toast. We went into town on the evening, ate out and had a few drinks in the pubs and bars, just a short walk from the guesthouse. The beach is less than 5 minutes away too. Would like to return in spring or summer next year.
