I moved to Birmingham for a career opportunity and chose to stay the first two months at Blythewood Guesthouse, while I researched for a permanent place. It was no doubt the best choice I could have made. The friendly, helpful and homelike atmosphere made it very easy to adapt and provided peace of mind to get my priorities organised as...

My stay at Blythewood was excellent,- I was welcomed as if staying with friends. I had a twin bedded room on the ground floor and my bed was comfortable, the shower was fine and breakfast suited me very well, being able to help myself, whenever I decided to have breakfast, no set time limits. Pat had prepared fruiit etc the...

I stayed here because I was in the area for an event. Very welcoming, lovely home, couldn't really ask for more from a B&B. Very tasty breakfast. Would highly recommend and will be using again when I am in the area.

And here it is! Thank you so much, I bet a tenner on getting a review from you! We ask all of our guests to review us on TripAdvisor, but they rarely do. One particularly lovely and regular guest told me once, “Look,” he said in a hushed voice, “If I tell anyone about you, there may not be a...

Thank you so much for your review. I was told by a guest, that he would not recommend Blythewood for fear of overbooking, and there would be no room available for him. Which was lovelly and reassuring that our efforts for looking after our guest are appreciated. Thank you one and all, and long may you use Blythewood Guest House...
