we did stay most of the time in the surroundings of lairg but our stay was not complete without a coffe/tea/scones- or homemade soup , stop in the crask!! great atmosphere and Kai and Mika are real nice scottish hosts. we do love the place as it is and we are afraid if there are new owners all will be...

Super friendly, amazing three course dinner, beautiful sunsets, awesome star gazing.... midges. eaten alive but worth it. Camping for free in the garden, ales on tap, slightly mad (but harmless) dog who thinks white pumps are balls and tries to get you to play fetch. All in all a brilliant break away and would visit again if had the chance.

It seemed we had been cycling for hours and hours through the fog, mist, rain and wind, and around every corner we hoped we would see the Crask Inn. Eventually we did. Upon arrival we rang the bell on the bar and a nice gentleman , Michael, the proprietor greeted us. He took us over to the bunkhouse across the...

Cosy bar with a large wood stove, tasty 3 course meal and good chat at a communal table in the dining room, then back into the bar for a whisky or two from the large selection, then across the road to the cosy and very comfy cottage/bunkhouse. Skipped breakfast to allow me to get up Ben Klibreck in sunshine, but...

Stayed here the last night after a week toring the area on bicycles. Be warned, if you are looking for a trendy place with all mod cons then look elsewhere. If however you want a comfortable nioghts sleep, pleasant company, relaxing surroundings and good food then this place fits the bill. Mike & Kai are great hosts and seem to...

Saw this place on an OS map and did some investigating. The very good reviews on this place do not do it justice. Stayed here with my son for three nights whilst doing motorbike tour of the highlands. Its central location made it great for doing circular routes. We were going to stay 1 night and move on, but ended...

This was the best place I stayed in during my entire end to end cycle. After a long cycle against head on winds, I was delighted to finally arrive at the inn and be greeted with a friendly welcome, hot tea and homemade muffin. Warmed up by the pub fire. The rooms are basic but clean. There is very kitty...

As I was near to the completion of the Lands End to John O'Groats ride I needed a warm and comfortable environment to stop the night. Mike and Kai were great hosts and the accommodation was fitting to the surroundings. If you love sitting in front of a log fire and having a nice drink then turning into a comfortable...

If you appreciate traditional values of service and hospitality, if your preferred modes of transport are on foot or bicycle and If your alternative accommodation is a camp (preferably a wild camp) then you will love this place. If you find it difficult to agree with all of the above conditions, don't come near this place, in fact, carry on...

Quite a unique experience, and in a good way! Wonderful hosts who are genuinely 'good' people, and rightfully proud of their unusual and quirky bed and breakfast. We were passing through on a cycling holiday, and it seemed that they were known by everyone in the Highlands. Welcoming to everyone who happened to drop by.
