We have returned home today after a three night stay in these marvellous lodges, we were met by Ian and Claire who own the lodges, the sun was shining, and the view from the lodges was just stunning, we were shown to our lodge, Rowan, given a rundown on everything we needed to know, heating, TV, satellite, when you arrive...

We stayed here for a week in April. It is one of the most stunning settings, even better than we had hoped for. Such a beautiful, peaceful place. A perfect family break, but also would be great for couples wanting a chilled romantic break. Great for exploring the local area. Would recommend a drive on the 'road to nowhere'. A...

We have just returned from a weeks stay in Thistle Lodge accompanied by our son and his girlfriend and Del the dog. On arrival we were met by Claire and Ian and given a thorough and very useful introduction to the Lodge and the area. Claire has an extensive knowledge of the local area and we only regret that we...

Lovely short break at Great Glen lodge staying in heather lodge. We received a very warm welcome and loved the view. Lodge had everything we could want and was cosy. Only downside was the potholed road but we were told it was due to winter storms and even in my car it was fine when driving slowly. Thoroughly recommend others...

Loved this place, friendly couple running it. Really helpful. Tidy clean. The views were spectacular. Wildlife was amazing we saw the resident Pine Martin, we were going to go out to eat but didn't want to leave the place, so ate in. Had a beautiful walk along the great Glen way 4 hours and you could also climb the Munro...

We spent a fantastic weekend in the Heather Lodge, Claire and Ian were so friendly and welcoming. The scenery is breathtaking but the cosy lodge was always nice to return to. Its got every amenity you could want for a short break and the lack of mobile phone reception was a real treat. We can't wait to return!

Stayed here in the Bracken lodge with our two children of 3 and 5 years and our 5 month puppy.. The owners were there to greet us and were so friendly and welcoming. The lodge was very cozy and clean and well stocked with the essentials. The view from lodges is breathtaking and the area out with is just scotland...

Stayed in Bramble Lodge, having previously stayed in Heather and Thistle. They are all lovely but this was our favourite, and when we come back its the one we will choose. From the moment you arrive, you start to relax. The lodges have everything you could possibly need, and once we are there we find it difficult to go out...

Great location for day trips all over the highlands. Cant wait to go again. If you are looking for a holiday in Scotland i recommend...

Welcome to tranquility. We stayed in Rowan Lodge at Great Glen Lodges. Beautiful remote location, if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life - you can find your happy place here. Wake up to breathtaking views. The owner's were away (left us a lovely message on a postcard though - thank you!) but were greeted by...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Great Glen Lodges offer quality self-catering accommodation in a peaceful and scenic Highlands location. You'll find our waterfront property nestled between Fort William, Loch Ness and Fort Augustus, within the Great Glen and Lochaber, the UK's centre for outdoor activities. Each of our five detached timber lodges enjoys a spectacular panoramic view, so that right at your front window you can take in loch and mountain vistas. The main gate lies just on the Great Glen Way, from where you can take advantage of a direct route to two Munros or find the area's many less challenging walks. At the bottom of our property, you'll find private access to the Lodges' own little pebbled beach. We take pride in providing a slow and quiet getaway as well as excellent service for our guests, many of whom return time after time. And we are very dog and pet friendly!
