Not what we expected but was satisfied with the two nights we stayed .It is very much a family resort , not a romantic get away, unless you like the rustic style . They also have places to camp and sleeping quarters under cover.

Chef leez Thai Cooking Class Bangkok and crew stayed 1 night here. The manager (owner) put us in side by side rooms which gave two of us a kitchenette for the price of a regular room. It was clean and the heat was adjustable by moving the sofa away from the window where the heater was. The tub was large...

I made a mistake with our reservation on a travel site and booked for the wrong night. Manager (possibly owner?) was very accommodating and friendly and moved our reservation without issue. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Heat lamp in the bathroom was great for warming it up. Short drive to the main part of Oliver....

The room we were given was advertised as a two bedroom suite, what we got was a quaint but very old room with a living room, kitchenette, bathroom and two bedrooms. The main bedroom had a queen sized bed as was expected but the second bedroom had two bunk beds, the room being not much wider than the bunks and...

This was our 3rd year at the Lakeside and again it didn't disappoint! Had a fantastic week with family and friends! Our kids are loving this new tradition and this beautiful piece of property that they get to run around on and enjoy and we just love the relaxation we get being there! This year we rode bikes up to...

The wifi was excellent, consistent and good signal. Great for anyone needing to do some business while away. The room had a few dealbreakers for us, so that colours how we felt about the place. Most importantly, we leave the city for fresh air, and we all sleep with windows open throughout the year. The room windows have no screens...

Great resort for families and retirees situated on a long, private sandy beach. Lake water is warm with no steep drop offs. Excellent for children. Close to an ice cream store and walking distance to town. Outstanding number of golf courses nearby and many more vineyards for tasting and buying wine. Oliver has many biking trails and bikes are available...

Pros The suite was spotless and well-equipped in the kitchen Relaxing and quiet even though there were families with kids. No loud music. Everyone at the resort seems to respect the resort policy. Quiet times from 11pm to 7am. This allows for a restful night sleep as all guests adhered to the policy. Suite faces the lake...the private beach is...

Nicely hidden within city limits. Tucked away on shore of a tiny lake. Units are dated yet tidy, clean and comfortable. Pleasure to stand on balcony listening to variety of birds during early morning. Looks like a great spot for family vacations.
