Had the most wonderful time at Lakeside with a family reunion in early October. Sally and her staff couldn't have been more accommodating. We all were more than comfortable in our lake view rooms and the setting couldn't have been more ideal. THANKS AGAIN, as alway, Lakeside you're the best.

Our family got together for a reunion and holiday at Lakeside Resort. Our unit was fully equipped , perfect size and very clean. Family enjoyed time on the lake in their kayaks, golfing nearby and biking through the quiet neighbourhood. Lake Tuc-el-unit makes for an idyllic setting and the Lakeside Resort made our family getaway a perfect vacation. We are already making plans for next year !

I have been camping at the Lakeside resort every summer since I was a young child. It is my favourite holiday and the one I most look forward to every year. This year I stayed in a motel with my young son and it was also a great experience as we had more amenities and comfort while travelling with a baby. The staff are always friendly, it is very clean and the beach is sandy and welcoming. What more could you ask for?

If the fact that I haven't missed a year since I was born isn't a review, I don't know what is. I came here as a kid with my family, and I continue to come back as an adult because this place manages to feel like a home away from home. Families are not only welcome, but taken care of. Gorgeous lake, and beach, comfort-style amenities like showers, flush toilets, and a store, but enough of that "nature feel" surrounded by trees, warm breeze and time spent barefoot on grass and sand to feel like you're getting that re-charge that mother nature intended. Close proximity to neighbours and quiet time at 11 gives that community feel and the rest you probably need! I look forward to coming back each year!

My extended family and I have stayed at The Lakeside Resort many, many times since 1986 - in tents, cabanas, full hook-up sites and the motel. One of my sons, now grown with his own children, referred to it as his 'happiest place on earth' when he was little. Things have not changed. Four generations of our family have enjoyed all that this amazing, family-oriented resort has to offer. Most recently, we visited in June 2021 with an extended family group of 28 and were not disappointed. The grounds were green and groomed, the washroom facilities clean and in working order, and pandemic requirements were addressed with a level of care and attention that left us feeling comfortable and welcome. Whether touring local wineries, playing a round of golf at Fairview, organizing a bocce tournament, planning a camping potluck dinner, or spending a lazy afternoon at the beach....we look forward to our same-time-next-year visit.

My family had a recent reunion vacation at the Lakeside Resort where some of us stayed in the motel, some in the campground, and in the cabanas. During these unprecedented times of COVID, Lakeside resort staff's top priority was to ensure our safety and well-being with extra cleaning and safety protocols put into place. I was not concerned at any time for my family or myself. As in the previous stays, the staff are helpful and professional and they go above and beyond. A great place for a family vacation. "Never Disappointed".

Stayed in one of the kitchenette suites. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. We loved having our room looking over the beach and green grass. Everything was well maintained and we found the staff friendly and approachable. Can’t wait to come back

My husband and I have visited the resort many times. Each time we do we are blown away by the beauty of the property. We have stayed in the hotel, cabanas and camped and loved all three. If you're looking for a great getaway for you and your family, this is it!

Have stayed at Lakeside for numerous years. Cozy, clean and welcoming rooms and extremely well run camp sites. Generations of families have kept Lakeside as part of their family traditions and we can see why. The care of the owners and staff is always on point. Very disappointed with bad reviews, obviously some people just want to cause trouble, not sure why, but totally disagree with poor reviews.

We booked for 2 nights sites are really close but ok we get there and i have a small chev spark there are white lines to mark the sites width so my car being small fit in with the truck that we are hauling our trailer with. Staff informs me that i cannot park on the site i asked why as i am in the white lines doesnt matter its policy normally ok but we are traveling and i have a cargo bag on the top of my car so its easy access to get in it they informed me that i have to park on the street. The staff is very unfriendly and condescending when i inquired if there was additional parking somewhere the response i got was that is the rule and everyone follows it. I guess customer service means nothing the fact that the car fit and we paid for the site is ridiculous was thinking about a week here but nope 2nights and we are moving onto somewhere a little more friendly and based on customer service!!
