Donna hosted us for four nights and we can't say enough good things. The hospitality shown was five star; breakfast and home made treats delivered nightly, the conversation with other guests at breakfast bonding over our excitement of the daily adventures we were having, hearing tales of the history of the region, her advice on trails and sights we may want to see that wouldn't be in the guidebooks ... All of this plus more made Abbie's seem like our home away from home from the first moment we pulled up the driveway!

From the warm welcome onward we felt at home here. Donna and Bruce made sure our stay was great including the personalized welcome card in the room to a surprise delivery of cinnamon buns to our room. And breakfast! What a breakfast! Donna and Bruce sat another couple with us - Kim and Carol - who we ended up bumping into during the week. Nice touches all 'round!

What a great, welcoming place! To start, we had confused our dates and arrived a day early. Our hosts sorted out a room for us without any fuss. They recommended excellent day trips in the area, served us eggs harvested that morning from the household hens, and put us up in excellent, comfortable rooms. When we find ourselves back in that part of the world, we will definitely return.

We loved our experience staying at Abbie's Garden Bed and Breakfast. My husband, daughter and I stayed one night on our way to catch the ferry to St. Pierre. We had cinnamon buns waiting for us as we arrived and a nice card welcoming us. The 2 bedroom suite that we stayed in was beautiful and spotless. The breakfast was great. I just wish we had another night to stay there.

We were treated to wonderful hospitality and a beautifully appointed room at Abbie's B&B. We felt very much at home! Donna and Bruce fed us well including some home made lemon meringue pie delivered personally to our deck. Sorry our stay wasn't longer!
