Buyer beware. Make sure that what you book is what you get! I got bumped down to "Parkers Bluewater Inn" which is a motel about a km up the road, owned by the same people, because they got a better offer from a wedding group. Motel was clean but not what I'd booked two months beforehand (including asking for a specific room on their website).

We stayed two nights in Triton at this small inn. We had a small double bedroom(curtains were shear-very bright) with a living room/stovetop and small fridge combo. There was a microwave and toaster oven so we could cook on the stovetop-we made breakfast and packed our lunches. The bathroom was nice-not too big but not small either. Our hostess was a lovely woman who had time to chat and share information on the area. She also has another location called Bluewater Inn that has a beautiful view of the bay and you can see whales from it-I think this is likely the better location. We saw 40+ whales from the shoreline in Triton so this was a great bonus. There was no recycle bin-it would be something to add.

What was really planned as a stopover between Gros Morne and St. John’s turned out to be one of our favorite stays. Right on the bay, the house has a large shared kitchen and living area, as well as a large deck to enjoy the scene. We saw several whales frolicking about in the evening and the morning, with some getting pretty close to the house. We could even hear them exhale at night while we slept with our window opened. There is a restaurant right next door, so once you check in, you won’t have to leave.

My son and I recently stayed at Wanda’s Bluewater Inn and had an excellent stay. Wanda represents the true meaning of a Newfoundlander with her friendlliness and warm hospitality. The rooms and living area were spotless and the arranged decor is beautiful. The million dollar view from her back deck is defiantly a must see! Wanda thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed here for one night. Our room was very nice we had large bed, a hot tub, bathroom with shower. Tv, fridge, coffee & teas making, and small deck area to sit out. Friendly landlady. This b & b is room only but there is a restaurant down the road. Good for local walking and Brighton is just down the road which is a pretty village.

On arrival at the Inn there was no one there but being rural Newfoundland all the doors were unlocked! The owner, Wanda soon arrived and showed us our room downstairs. There were 3 rooms downstairs all sharing a kitchen/lounge and deck area overlooking Card's Harbour, a beautiful bay. All the rooms had tea/coffee making facilities and a TV; the kitchen had a kettle, cooker, microwave and the lounge a TV as well. All very clean and Wanda was very helpful and friendly. We were also invited into her home to share a glass of wine with her and some of her visiting friends from British Columbia. On our 2nd evening there were 30+ large (6ft) Tuna in the bay feeding, no more than 50 yards from shore - a great sight.

We recently stayed at the Blue Water Inn while visiting relatives and vacationing. The owner - Wanda - has another property close by called Parkers Blue Water Inn so make sure which one you are staying in. This property is located next to Fudge's Restaurant formally known as PJ's bar & Grill. The rooms are located in the basement of Wanda's home. There are 3 rooms in this property all with attached bath. There is also a kitchenette/living room for your use with fridge, hot plate, coffee pot, etc. No meals are provided with this room so if you are staying a couple of days the kitchenette can be an asset. The rooms were a good size and were very clean and comfortable. Basic amenities - TV, clock radio - were in each room for you to use. The only downside is that you could hear the owners walking around upstairs. This wouldn't be an issue unless it's late at night. The attached deck was very large and had some chairs / swing for guests to use. The view was beautiful and quite relaxing.…

We booked by calling the owner. Very nice lady and we were very much looking forward to this beautiful place. We arrived, found our room, only to discover somebody else was in our reserved room! We were offered a much smaller room with no view. No thanks. We were offered another room 1km farther down the road with a street view. We were disappointed. Pilleys Island, Triton and Brighton area is incredible though and it made the trip worthwhile.

What a gem in Triton, NL! Wanda, the owner, was the best! The view out the bay was outstanding while standing on the very large deck. Fudge's restaurant is just next door. We would stay here without hesitation if we return to the Triton area. Thanks, Wanda!
