This place looked wonderful in the pictures....then we saw it in real time. It looked run-down, and smelt musty and old. I could have been cleaner, the beds were uncomfortable, pillows not a good quality. My physio will be getting a kick back from my stay here with the visits to fix my aching back.

Where do I start. This was a brilliant place to stay. Yes it's only rated with 3 stars but don't let that fool you. The rooms are clean and comfortable but it's the extras provided that raise it to 5 stars - warm, friendly staff staff who go out of their way to ensure your stay is enjoyable; a Continental...

The hotel just oozes old world charm no flashy tinsel and or modern décor but clean warm rooms and very friendly staff who are only to happy to assist with anything. The dining room breakfast is lovely and after you can sit back in the lounge enjoy a coffee and read the newspaper. Transport is right out the front for...

The Richmond Hill Hotel is in a great location, you have a tram stop right outside your door, it is easy access into Melbourne CBD, Sporting Venues and a big variety of cafes, restaurants in Victoria Street or Bridge Road. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the breakfast buffet that is included is very good. The rooms are...

The Richmond Hill Hotel provided us with an excellent night's accommodation. The location is ideal for patrons interested in attending a night match at the football or night at the theatre in the city. I would highly recommend the breakfast which offered a wide variety of continental options.

Location for us was key for us as we were heading to a concert at The Corner Hotel. But I must admit at $155 for the night for a ensuite room and breakky it was on the steep side. Take it for what it is.

We visited Melbourne two years ago and stayed in the Richmond Hill Hotel, and just visited again and rebooked. The staff is as friendly and helpful as before, and the breakfast buffet that is included is still quite generous, with fruit, yogurt, hot and cold cereals, toast, and a nice selection of teas, jams and preserves. The coffee is good,...

Good location central to Richmond shops, restaurants and MCG. Budget accommodation in an old building but was done well. The room and ensuite were small but served the purpose for a night or two and was extremely clean. The walls are quite thin though so if you get a noisy neighbour (as we did!) there's not much you can do about...

Visited with friends and stayed in budget rooms which was fine for our short two night stay. Clean rooms and friendly staff were the feature while breakfast was good and included in the low room price. Great location if you are going to the MCG and easy walking to Bridge Road and Pubs of Richmond. Probably wouldn't stay here if...
