From the moment you are picked up by private speedboat from the neighbouring island, you know this is a special place. Rooms fab, setting: Paradise, food amazing. Great to have access to kayaks to go around to other coves and snooker in the coral reefs. Recommend a boat trip to go snorkelling or a trip to the mangroves. Probably the...

They say people make places, meaning you may be in the most inhospitable place on Earth and yet feel happy if with the right person. However, arriving in a sunny day in Tsara Komba was like getting into a fantasy pocket. Then, unexpectedly, we were caught by the first cyclone of the season for a couple of days, but interestingly...

We stayed here for four nights and it is the best place that we have ever stayed for a beach break. It truly is paradise. The rooms are great with a huge amount of inside and outside space - all villas are positioned so that you feel very private. The beds/pillows are comfy and all is scrupiously clean. There is...

My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon in October 2016 for 8 days. The whole experience was unforgettable from the start. Lucy and Xavier (the management team) make you feel at home immediately and make every effort to ensure your every need is met and frequently exceeded while you're in their hands. They really seemed to...

We had wanted to spend 8 nights here towards the end of October, but as it is clearly popular, it was already booked up and we were only able to manage 4. Lucie and Xavier, the young French couple managing the lodge, made sure that they were four full and utterly memorable days; snorkelling trips; boat trips and romantic meals,...

My husband and I ended our 3-week adventure to Madagascar at this Oasis on the small island of Nosy Komba, and the 5 days/4 nights we spent here were straight from Paradise. Our French hosts Lucy and Xavier could not have been more welcoming, delightful and accommodating, from the moment they greeted us on the beach as we arrived by...

We stayed 8 nights at Tsara Komba Lodge. The lodge is beautifully designed reflecting the local design with palm leaf thatch, wodden shutters. I especially loved it that there are no glass windows and all building are airy and open bringing the outside in. As the lodge only has 8 spacious chalets, everything is very private and one cannot see...

Fabulous lodges and wonderful staff, who cannot do enough to make you feel welcome and at home. They have a particularly impressive local chef who created and cooked a wonderful menu. They were also really helpful in sorting out a dive course for us while we were there. Thanks for everything Lucy and Xavier and the rest of the staff,...

8 days at Tsara Komba Lodge, I could have stayed for 8 weeks, but somehow, I think my bank manager would have said no! What an incredibly beautiful spot. The lodge has been sensitively designed, disappearing into the forest when viewed from the ocean. The rooms are spacious, the wooden polished floor so soft on the feet, the linen magnificent...
