Stayed here twice, even recommended family to stay here and they did, they also enjoyed the stay. Best place to book when traveling from SA to Namibia. The restaurant is great with good food. Quite place to rest well. Friendly staff and thw rooms are clean and comfortable.

I stopped here for one night, the rooms were nice & the whole place was clean. The downside was the noise as it is right beside the highway. Yes I would stay again & I have stayed at a couple of different places in the area. I thought the pricing was a little on the high side.

The place to spend the night on route from Namibia to Johannesburg. Die Dam - Transkalahari End Resort offer self catering Chalets that sleep 4 people as well as camping grounds. The chalets are basic but perfect for an overnight stop. They also have an onsite restaurant offering very good meals at very reasonable prices.

We stayed for one night in the campsite. It was noisy from the traffic, it is on the main Transkalahari High Way so I suppose we should have figured that out! However, the lodge and campsite are undergoing some revamping which probably didn't help but I wouldn't visit again due to noise. Geese were fun and it was lovely sitting...

We were not sure what to expect but it was a pleasant surprise at Die Dam. The chalets were clean and the grass area a welcome change to the usual dust in other places. A small pool, an old but playable mini golf and a rowing boat ( we couldn't find oars) were all available for guests use. We tried...

The location is on the Transkalahari High Way from Johannesburg to Windhoek through Botswana and offers an easy close to the road overnight facility. The place is under new ownership and upgrades to the lapa and chalets were in process while we were there. The place was tidy and neat.

The "Be Wild" Bushman Experience is a total rip-off. My wife and I were very dissapointed the "walk" never ventured more than 100m from the camp. Three spoor were pointed out. Two plants and a stroll through "the bush". No animal sightings, no insight into the Bushman's way of life. The owner was suprised to hear we were from South...

We camped for 21 nights in a row across Namibia and Botswana, and several of our group voted Die Dam the best site of all. It isn't remote or wild, and in fact it's only a few hundred metres from the main Windhoek-Jo'burg highway and the lorries are quite loud until late into the evening. But the owners have really...
