Stayed over in transit from Botswana back to Windhoek. Apparently the season was not on yet, so maybe the service was a bit less good than it might be at other times. Nice lay-out and good rooms. As often in Africa slightly worn off bathrooms.

The whole place has been designed and built by hand by Elsabab Barnard and her late husband, it took them seven years while they lived in a caravan on site. It is a creative tour de force, very organic, and designed round both the landscape and the enormous timbers salvaged from moorings at Walvis Bay that support the main structure....

We stayed here for one night on our trip from Botswana back to Windhoek and recommend the place. Nice chalets (with airco) with view on the pond. Nice swimming pool. Wifi in the centre facilities. Although we were the only guests during this low season, we had an excellent diner. Maybe the place can be busy during high season as...

We arrived here with our Landcruiser with tents on the roof in the summer of 2016 on the way to Botswana. The nights were cold, but the showers were warm. The campsite is a couple of km away from the lodge but the owner picked us up (as our tents were already set out on top of the car) and...

Truly beautiful place with fantastic views. If you're a camper however, don't bother. When we arrived we were shown a list of prices at the gate. This list included the price for an evening meal. Since we didn't feel like cooking, we decided to go for the meal. When arriving at the lodge two kms down the road, we told...

Excellent lodge. Great for a place to unwind. There is a nice 4x4 trail from which one can see some of the varieties of game that exists on their large game farm. Wifi is good and worked fine for us. The owners are a delight and are very attentive. meals were very good. Rooms are also very nice with ample...

Unfortunately stayed only one night. After a warm welcome by the owner family we put our luggage into the rooms, afterwards pool and sundowner. The rooms with nice decoration and a view to the waterhole. The dinner was so delicious with a crispy salad as perfection. We sat long time afterwards to watch the game at the illuminated waterhole, then...

On our 3 week tour through Namibia the Kalahari Bush Break was one of our highlight. Even though we didn't had a reservation, we got a warm welcome and accommodation for 7 people. The place itself is just great. We loved the architecture and design. The dinner was delicious. In the morning we watched a group of gnus wandering to...

This lodge is just an average lodge. We can not say that something was wrong, the rooms are a bit outdated and there are a lots of stuffed animals around. There is not much to do there, however it is not a bad place to stop for one night.
