We spent our holiday at the Coral Rock which is just next to the KIMTE. We we're spending lots of time at this very nice place. It's garden is just fantastic and the food is also very good. Good for Kitesurfing !

Great atmosphere - so chilled out and quiet. A good escape from big resort style accommodation, small enough to be really personalised and know the other guests. Finally left jambiani and immediately regretted leaving. Bar/restaraunt staff are extremely helpful. Only fans but not that hot during the night. We were able to pay with card which was convenient given that...

Stayed at Kimte for 8 days, for about $20 a night for a dorm bed. It's very chilled and quiet. It also has a bar and restaurant with limited food choices. Kitesurfing shop right next door. Dive shops are far away but the staff can help you and call dive shops to arrange transportation to dives. NO WIFI in the...

This is a small place run by an Italian man , Antonio , with a good vibe and very relaxed. The place is right on the sea .. And what a sea! One of the most beautiful water we have seen on the island . This side of the beach in jambiani has still not been invaded by big resorts...

Spent 10 days in the dorm. It was great. Lovely staff. The bar/restaurant is right on the beach. You will have your meals with your feet on the sand. The rooms are a little too hot, but who wants to spend time inside the room with this amazing beach right there?! You can use the wi-fi and the pool from...

Kimte lies next to a beautiful beach in a nice part of Jambiani. We stayed there for three nights and had a good time. The staff was helpful and friendly. Only the owner is quite a character. When we were there, he didn't really seem to be in to the whole hospitality thing. Though he did change our room because...

Here the staff is very friendly and helpful and may even invite you out after work or to their villages during their days off. The location is right at a beautiful beach though Jambiani is quite far from Stone town (1hr) so not many restaurant options, most of them linked to the hotels in the area. You can also walk...

We stayed for 5 nights in Jambiani, at Kimte and I think this is the best place in Jambiani! Just few meters from the beach, with bar/restaurant on the beach, great staff, very helpful and friendly. Rooms are nice and clean, with fan and mosquito net. I definitely would recommend Kimte!

My friend and I stayed in a spacious dorm room with (huge) ensuite bathroom. Both bathroom and rooms were extremely clean, with even flowers decorating each bed. Staff was very helpful. The guesthouse and its bar, which also serves food, are right on the beach. Guests of Kimte are allowed to use both wifi and the swimming pool of the...
