We stayed at the Art Hotel for four nights and enjoyed it very much. It is located in a small village at the east coast of Zanzibar and just a few steps away from your room you'll find the most beautiful beach. The Hotel is small, only fours rooms, and Jamilah and her team will make you feel very welcome....

Seven of us had a fantastic stay at the art hotel. The rooms are all very comfortable and spacious. The pool and garden is a great place to relax and the beach is just down some steps. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were really good with fresh fruit, eggs, pancakes, toast and Nutella! we had...

The staff of the hotel is extremly welcoming and helpful and the breakfast is amazing. The daily cleaning was highly effective and professional. After a short drive from vibrating Stone Town we arrived at this little oasis in the calmer southern part of Zanzibar where we were warmly welcomed with a first surprise from the locally inspired and fresh cuisine. The rooms are spacious and correspond to high western standards. Yet, each of the four rooms has it's own character as they were...

The art hotel is ideally located in the nicest side of jambiani's beach. We stayed there seven nights and enjoyed this guest house. Well decorated with short access to the beach, the hotel has a nice swimming pool and is integrated in the village. They offer nice and qualitative tours and local food. Located in a quiet fishing village on the east coast of Zanzibar, Art Hotel Z offers a truly unique experience and intimate interactions with locals who live and work in the area. The owner, Jamilah, was exceptionally accommodating to my requests, large and small, in both of my stays in Jambiani (2013 / 2015) This hotel is quaint, a boutique...

We spent 3 pleasant weeks in this fine hotel. Bright, clean and well equipped rooms. Excellent breakfeasts and dinners. The personnel was very helpful and cheerful; many smiling faces. Some people can not like the location as it is not directly situated on the beach; nonetheless, the view of the Indian Ocean was spectacular. And we had the impression that we...

My boyfriend and I stayed for only one night in this place, but it was very good and ample for our needs. Situated just across the road from the beach with a small swimming pool. The rooms are clean and spacious, and very modern. Really chic! There is tea & coffee making facilities in the rooms.

We called in to this place for a look as it is quite unique, just 4 rooms and various bits of Tanzanian art work on display. The owner made us so welcome, a real contrast to the place we actually stayed at across the road where the owners didn't greet us in 5 days! She showed us the rooms and...
