We stayed in Mbuyuni Beach Village for 7 days and it was by far the worst hotel of our holiday. The restaurant is full of flies and it seems hard for the people who work there to smile. The people are not hospitable and friendly...More

If you head down to the beach and turn to the right, you will see a long, high wooden wharf with huts right at the end. About 10 minutes walk. One of those huts is a bar, but the other is devoted to water activities such as diving, windsurfing, snorkeling etc. It wasn't too specific on scuba diving, but that's the closet place I saw without having to drive too far.
