Alirio and lydia are both absolutely lovely and very helpful, as are all the staff. Only...

Alidia is a small hotel with a small pool surrounded by trees from all sides. The entrance to the hotel is very shabby and so is the approach to the beach which is actually quite complicated and goes through some fishermens huts. The rooms are decent but nothing to write home about .

Goans are well known for their kind hospitality... but this is so untrue in case of the Alidia management.... First, we were not told that the check in is only at 11am.... we arrived at Alidia @ 7:30am... we were asked to keep our baggages near the reception & freshen up using the wash room near the swimming pool... we...

its nearer to baga beach around 100 mts. Services is ok. Don,t get scared for the view of enterance, the actual hotel is inside. We stayed in standard rooms, Ground floor rooms are cozy so asked for first floor rooms if available. Staff is helpful. They charged us around 1500 per night.

Stayed here almost an year back now (Dec10), great location, just 100 mtrs away from the Baga beach, the food was not great but nothing that one can complain about either, the houskeeping staff was quite helpful and courteous. We stayed in the pool facing room on the ground floor, which was quite nice. Its decently priced for the ambience...

I stayed here for 3 nights in their highest priced rooms for my wife's birthday. The first day the TV in the room was not working. Upon numerous reminders they managed to change the TV on the end of the 2nd day and that TV was also not working properly. They finally managed to correct the TV on the 3rd...

Its a no frills place which is great for someone looking for a comfortable, clean place on a low budget. Here is why I loved Alidia: - nice homely feel and helpful staff - very good location, just a couple of minutes from Baga - good value for money - nice swimming pool negatives: - very limited food selection
