We spent the longest time here while on our honeymoon in December. The area itself is great for everything- tours to Corcovado and the Osa peninsula, visiting Manuel Antonio and Quepos, the very unique Whale's Tail, hikes or atving through jungles, waterfalls (including Uvita's own that you can slide down) and just lounging on very sparsely populated and sometimes completely...

Victor, the owner of Los Laureles, has created very nice accommodations on his land. He gave us a very warm welcome, we felt immediately at home. You can choose between cabinas close to the road, or cabinas that are more remote located in his private jungle. The cabinas are spotless, and have a good working AC. During our 3-night stay...

This was my second time staying here at Cabinas Los Laureles. Both times i found it to be very comfortable and enjoyed my stay. The family that owns it is very friendly. One day i couldn't get a cab to a music event i was attending so Victor drove me himself. It is very quiet and all the landscaping is...

the value is in the service provided by the owners/operators, a family -- English speaking -- who provide truly excellent information and meals. The rooms are typical of cabinas (nothing fancy) but the meals are home-cooked and value-priced. Very informal atmosphere, helpful folks in every way.

It was 21pm and we were tired of driving. We stopped in Uvita and were recommended these cabins. Owners helped us to settle and showed us the family land by the cabins. Next datos, breakfast was excellent, owners showed us the birds and gave us tips towards a waterfall. Sincerely recommended.

The cabina was back in the jungle away from any noise from the town. It was very clean and spacious. We stayed in the two bedroo which had a nice table in the main room and a hamock on the balcony. Our hosts were very welcoming and made us feel very at ease. We had a very pleasant stay and...

We stayed at here for one night while visiting Marino Ballena National Park. The cabin was squeaky clean and spacious, and felt very secure back where we were in the jungle area. Young Victor was very helpful in providing directions and recommendations for food and things to do in the area. We were able to leave our bags in their...

We stayed at Cabinas los Laureles in Uvita for one night this week. We came to explore Uvita and hear one of our favorite musicians play at the Roadshack Deli. We could not have been more pleased. We rented a cabina about 150 meters back in the rainforest for a very reasonable price. The cabina was squeaky clean and roomy...

The family that owns this hotel took amazing care of us. They were available for us whenever we needed them, but gave us plenty of privacy. The grounds are nice and secluded and the rooms feel like small cottages. It's a great place to stay on a budget as well!

A great find via tripadvisor the room we had was beautiful (22) out of 4 cabins for the first two nights we were the only ones in residence. The third night was a little different as the one fault with the beautiful cabins is their lack of sound proofing which meant that our tranquil spot was spoilt by loud voices...
