I did not stay at this hostel, just visited it. I was staying nearby and walked past it daily, so finally went in to explore and found it to be friendly and delightful. It's a fun, artistically decorated, easy to come and go place right next to downtown Uvita. Fun art on the walls and open air play areas are...

Fun room i had, with comic books on wall and comic character sheets. About 4 beds to a room. Also has a tree house, and a place to camp. Good food and nice atmosphere. Real close to a waterfall just up the street. Drew the owner was real nice helping with my trip planning. Thank You.

This place is very hard to describe. When we first pulled up I think we were a little nervous about it. There are lots of things hanging from trees, the ceilings, the walls are covered in murals. There was a tree house that a couple who we met there loved! It was spacious and the breeze felt great! Our initial...

Fun hostel with a huge open area containing hammocks, pool table, kitchen, bar area, restaurant and more which was all put to good use. Lots of useful information about what to do in the area and a free shuttle to the marine national park/beach. Central location for taking buses and the supermercado. Room was comfy and contained a sink which...

Staying in Tucan is really nice. The owners are a couple from states and Italy. Both of them are very nice people. They helped us to contact with the agencies in Uvita to book the activities or tours. All the employees in the hotel are very welcome. People live there are also very nice. Don's miss such a nice place...

I arrived at the Tucan Hotel very early in the morning and was traveling by myself, so I was a little nervous. I arrived before check in, but the staff was friendly enough to let me go ahead and get into my room. One of their workers in particular, Alex, was excellent. He answered any questions that I asked and...

Excellent hostel with lots of hammocks and places to relax and provides a very chilled out, friendly atmosphere. There is both a restaurant and separate kitchen for when you want to cook yourself. The staff are very helpful and welcoming and they provide a free shuttle to the national park (only one way, but you can either get a taxi...

They do so much to make every guest feel welcome, from organizing numerous amazing tours for guests to providing vital...

The two owners were very pleasant and a real help. They arranged a horseback ride and even took us to a restaurant outside of the hotel. We liked it so much that we are going to go back in about 5-6 weeks. A really good trip.
