We recently completed a 12 day intensive training at Manoas and found the staff and facilities excellent for our purposes. As a teacher it is extremely nice to know that the housing and dining needs are taken care of so I can focus my energy on the students. Steve, the owner, was always available and helpful in suggesting services we...

What a gem of a place. It is only a couple of miles off the main highway but you feel like you're in the middle of an Amazon rainforest. And you have all the amenities one could want - pool, river(s), AC, gourmet kitchen, great balcony with dining and seating. Dos Rios (the big house) has four bedrooms. Our whole...

Owner - manager Steve was helpful and welcoming. When we left something behind he immediately contacted us and sent it ahead. Lots of birds. Quite a bit above Uvita so it's cooler and quiet. The pool is very nice and easily accessed. Kitchen and rooms are well designed and appointed. Our only complaint was that the bathroom is downstairs by...

We rented the large house for our entire family and we fell in love with this place!! Fantastic views, lovely river and forest, great pool, incredibly well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and rooms, flexibility from the owner, and proximity to Uvita center, Ojochal and Dominical. We cannot say enough about this gorgeous house. We were curious so we checked out...

It was a great stay at Manoas. We had 2 wonderful days. Steve and his crew are very nice and helpful with organisation. The Tents are just amazing, super clean and spacious . You wake up with the noise of the nature. Amazing! The breakfast is really good and typical Costa Rica. We really enjoyed this place.

Manoas is a secret treasure! Steve was so kind and helpful. He has created a beautiful, private paradise with clean and well-stocked villas. The villa we stayed in had everything from a private hot tub to a comfy bed. We awoke to the sound of the howlers nearby and the river below, so peaceful. We wish that we could have...

We stayed at the Casa del Rio at Manoas with four families. The house was impeccably clean, the rooms were perfectly sized with every amenity of the highest quality, and you could tell that every detail had been thought of to make our stay comfortable. The owners even went out of their way to make sure we had pack n...

Manoas offers the perfect balance of modern comfort and exotic nature. It is tucked away in the deep green hillside, while just minutes from some of the most stunning beaches in Costa Rica. We stayed in Casa Rio this time with a group of friends, and I can't imagine a better location for such a trip. Our four small families...

Excellent accommodations, with plenty to see and explore. Stunning views of the Jungle with the sights and sound of wildlife all around; and only a short walk to town. Steve was a fantastic and friendly host. We especially enjoyed the world class breakfast every morning.

If I could give 5+ rating, I would. This property was every bit as beautiful as we thought it would be, and so much more. The villa: (in short-- luxurious, comfortable, spacious) We stayed in the two-bedroom house, which was gorgeous. Spacious, very clean, extremely comfortable. Luxury. We had two bedrooms upstairs, each with a comfortable king size bed (they...
