I have stayed in this hotel in April. I cannot find fault in hotel, room was clean, breakfast was good, beach is outside hotel, old city is close by. The biggest fault is Sozopol itself in April, since almost everything over there is closed in April.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a great time. The breakfast spread was exhaustive and the hotel is located in a good part of sozopol. Fantastic value and very clean. The standout aspect was it's staff, particularly the receptionists who kindly helped us with a number of queries, booking us a bus etc. Important as we don't speak Bulgarian....

Hotel Selena has three things going for it...location, location, location. It's right on the beach and perfectly situated to explore the delights of Sozopol, as it's midway between the old town and the livelier nightlife quarter. This is a small, friendly, family-run hotel. It would be unfair to describe it as "no-frills", as it is clean, comfortable, has efficient staff...

We stayed at this hotel from the 16th September to the 30th. It is a small hotel but very comfortable. The reception staff were all very helpful and spoke good English. Our room was cleaned daily and was spotlessly clean. It had a balcony overlooking the beach and sea. The downside was that during the second week the restaurants along...

Four of us ate here, we sat outside on the terrace listening to the duet singing and playing . Helpful Reception staff had phoned down to the restaurant to check there was enough space for us because they had a large party to cater for that night. We needn't have worried though the waitress was helpful and we soon received...

The location is excellent, just on the edge of town close enough for the beach, restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel has a tiny pool and the sun terrace only gets sun on about 25% of it, (early September). Beach/Sun terrace towels are not supplied so you will need to take your own. We had an issue with room towels...

Great location in centre of new town overlooking sea. Nice family room, breakfast on sun terrace with view over garden and sea. Friendly staff, great value car hire, will definitely be back next year for property search.

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. When I booked my room I didn't realize it was not a sea view so I faced the town which was disappointing. The hotel was full so I wasn't able to change even for an up charge. However, the wifi at hotel was strong enough that I could...

Hotel Selena is in New Town but just a few minutes' walk to Old Town, the South Fortress Wall, the marina, etc. It's also steps from the central beach and one block from the shuttle to Kavatzi (Kavaci) Beach. While not charming, the hotel offers a lot: a small fitness room, a bar, a restaurant (with fantastic food and views,...
