We booked the entire hotel for 2 nights. Rooms were lovely and the service was superb. The proprietor Frederic and his enthusiastic staff took care of everything: outside events including visit to wineries, transportation, flowers for wedding, music and even hairdresser and babysitters. No need for a wedding planner. The food was outstanding, even when compared to the many excellent...

We had a very spacious room (103) where we stayed with 2 adults and 2 kids. Very comfortable and clean, with a beautiful bathroom which has a a nice roll top bath and a separate walk-in shower. The room also has a small terrass with sun chairs. Service in the hotel was great, the pool area is very nice (lots...

The Chateau de Mazan is well worth a stay particularly if you like the unusual. The staff are delightful and the cuisine, apart from breakfast, is superb. The hotel, once the family home of the De Sade family, offers a relaxed stay in a charming and artistic environment without any stuffiness or pomposity. Unfortunately the village of Mazan which (unusually...

Sadly this hotel needs a refurb, especially on the bottom floor where we stayed. There are old framed posters on the walls and the paint colors are atrocious. The front staff seemed a little overwhelmed.

Dear Sir, Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on Chateau de Mazan. I am sorry that you didn't like the hotel decoration. Chateau de Mazan is an historical building furnished and decorated carefully with antiques, art and decoration objects coming mostly from France but also from other places in Europe and India. We are the opposite...

Lovely hotel that takes you back in time. Rooms are beautifully decorated, food is delicious. Quiet and relaxing and great spot for day trips to some of the lovely surrounding towns. We were here for a wedding which was an amazing event and the Chateau made it magical.

We stayed here for one night at the beginning of a four-day bike riding tour. The whole experience was lovely, filled with old-world charm. I would have happily stayed a few extra days as Mazan is a good starting point for a number of challenging loop rides in the Ventoux area. Climbs from either Bedoin or Malaucene were possible from...

A nice chateau, where also Maquis de Sade stayed for a while :). Nice quiet chateau, rooms and also spacious suites, garden with a pool. Parking place. Village Mazan doesn't have much spirit, but there are few nice restauramts and on tpo of it, very nice hiking tours nearby. Mont Ventoux - the highest point of Tour de France within...

This gracious hotel was just what we needed for a week in Provence. Although Mazan itself a great tourist attraction the hotel is the epitome of gracious charm. We ate breakfast and dinner on the terrace (food delicious and wines from the region - also wonderful) and spent the days exploring the surrounding countryside as recommended by the hotel manager....

I went to this hotel with friends to cycle up Mont Ventoux. The location is perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was superb, we had dinner in the restaurant one night. The only reason I don't give the hotel 5 stars is the bathroom. No rooms had proper showers, some had fixed high units but no...
