My husband and I have been returning to this B&B at least once a year for the past 16 years. It is our home base for any visit to Provence - partially because Mazan is central to so many of the beautiful hill top towns but mostly because of the owner Laraine Dunn who provides such a welcoming environment. When...

Le Mas De Cante Perdrix in rural Provence has been our favorite destination for many years. Its location outside Mazan is convenient to multiple small villages and their markets as well as the attractions in Avignon, Nyon, Aix, etc. More importantly you should not miss the meals prepared by Mme Dunn which are creative uses of the local produce. Mealtime...

This is the Dutch word for something like cosy and describes a feeling that Dutch people miss when they live or travel in another country. This place was really 'gezellig' with the nice and stylish decorated rooms with everything we needed. The pool was great after a long day of cycling. And on top of that we had fantastic meals...

Just spent 3 nights at Le Mas de Cante-Perdrix, too short a stay so much to discover. A great place to center a stay in the Cote de Rhone. A short drive to Chateau Neuf de Pape. Carpemtras. tasting and discovering was great. The owner, Laraine, welcomes her guest with a warm smile and open heart. A superb hostess, she...

We visit France a lot and stay in many different types of accommodation. We have stayed in this wonderful ' chambre d'hôtes' many times over the last few years. It has to be the best we have ever stayed in. From the warmth of welcome, to the beautiful, individually designed bedrooms and the peaceful surroundings- this 'mas' has become a...

The Mas de Cantre-Perdrix B&B is a renovated farmhouse just outside the small village of Mazan, east of Carpentras in Provence, with six en-suite rooms; both French and English is spoken. Madame Laraine Dunn prepares fabulous dinners from local foods and provides in-depth guides to the region. Relaxation in the quiet garden with pool is an option, as are daily...

My husband and I recently spent a couple of days at Mas de Cante Perdrix to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was a short drive from where we live in Aix en Provence but a world away in a quiet corner of vineyards near Carpentras (good Friday market). Laraine's property is just outside the sweet little village of Mazan which...

A beautiful Bed and Breakfast located within a sort drive to all towns and wineries . The rooms are large , beautifully decorated and have their own private entrances. The gardens are amazing and it even has a swimming pool. The Proprietors speak fluent French and English. Be sure and make reservations with Laraine for a gourmet, four course dinner....

Lorraine and Sean have done an amazing job renovating an old farmhouse ("mas") overlooking the mountains and vineyards of Mazan. They serve a lovely breakfast every morning, complete with Lorraine's homemade jams, which are incredible. She also cooks opt-in dinners for guests, which begin with an hour or so of drinks, where guests are invited to chat with each other...

My fiancée and I stayed at Le Mas de Cante Perdrix in May 2009, and we were thrilled with our accomodation and surroundings- the villa is located in an absolutely majestic, pastoral setting, near the base of Mont Ventoux. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home by the friendly owners, Lorraine and Sean Dunn. Having...
