My mom and I stayed here and Monica was absolutely welcoming. The rooms are superb and the breakfast was behind superb. Monica also helped us with getting on a last minute boat trip to the Skellig islands. My mom and I agreed that this B&B was the best that we stayed in for our 2 week holiday. We will be...

stayed here a while ago and got the loveliest of welcomes from Monica. It's a beautiful warm welcoming place . I saw a poor review and just had to write about our stay. Unsure what that person was drinking or where they stayed but it wasn't the same place I stayed in. Everything was top notch the beds are very...

If you are looking for boutique style b+b then this is the place for you . We were a family of 4 cycling through Kerry and our welcome started out the road when a car pulled over and the lady of the house gave us the great news that we were nearly there. The rooms are designer quality and would...

Great reviews on Tripadvisor can normally be trusted but this one was by far the worst B&B we stayed at amongst many. It feels more like a hotel, so those searching warm welcomes should look elsewhere. The B&B had the comfort of a good hotel with a very comfortable bed and fine shower, etc. However, the welcome was unlike we...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Portmagee Heights during our recent trip to Ireland. The furnishings were all new and very modern as well as comfortable. Breakfast of crepes and fruit was delicious and artistic.

Portmagee Heights was one of our stops on Wolfhound Adventure Tours. If you're looking for a top notch place to stay, then look no further. My room had two skylight windows overlooking green fields, a cottage, and beautiful scenery. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom, though cozy, served its purpose and was private. The hostess, who was cheerful and...

Fit the environment yet modern, very comfortable family run B&B. Walk in shower a blessing after crawling over such tall narrow tubs for days in prior accommodations. Breakfast was served in style and delicious. Beds very comfortable.

We hadn't been to a European home Bed and Breakfast (B&B) since the 1970's and weren't expecting too much ( we were used to putting a shilling in the water heater for a still cold shower), but we were very happily disabused. Our room at Portmagee Heights was clean, had a beautiful view of Valencia Island, and had a comfortable...

Exceptional B&Bs are hard to find, Portmagee Heights is one of the best I've stayed at. Monica, the owner is very welcoming and we had 2 beautiful, modern rooms with stunning views of Valentia Island. You'll sleep well and a hearty breakfast should get you started for your trip to Skellig Michael, if you're heading that way.

Had no reservations - just showed up...Gracious host and a quiet, clean room, spacious home with a lovely breakfast room and food. No clutter here! Great location within walking distance to the small town of Portmagee and Valencia Island is a 5 minutes drive.
