Delightful warm friendly couple. Nothing too much trouble. Will definitely keep you entertained as they both have such interesting tales to tell. Good location. Not far from restaurants pubs etc. Lovely walks. Breakfast just right. Rooms are very clean but a little cramped but that maybe because Mike and Judy very kindly allowed our two dogs. Would definitely stay again.

Mike and his wife go out if their way to make you feel welcome. Rooms are very small but very well done. Cute view if the backyard. Bathrooms are very small. The small spaces are due to the age if the building. Breakfast was very good. Really, the hosts more than makeup for any shortcomings.

This was a wonderful place to stop in Portmagee. Mike and Judy, the hosts, are very knowledgable about the area, very hospitable. The breakfast is basic Irish breakfast - sausages, eggs, etc. - but they also display some flexibility. Good cereal & fruit is also available. The room was small, but space is at a premium in these towns. The...

Stayed for one night as I'd booked to go to Skellig Michael the next day. Guest house in the Main Street which runs along the harbour front further along. Our room had views across the back garden, up the hill and was very quiet. We had a tiny private en suite toilet and shower, the room small but comfortable. The...

Excellent location! Great breakfast! Loved this little town. The Skellig Michal tour was definitely expensive(60E) ,and our captain did not take us around the entire island (maybe ensure that happens before you board) .. but otherwise it was worth the tour.

We spent two nights with Mike and Judy. Note everybody mentions their names and they'll certainly know yours. Everyone is guaranteed a warm, personal welcome and the couple are happy to give very good advice on the best spots to visit. They will also be very helpful if you have to leave early or late and will do their best...

So nice I added a day there. Michael and Judy were amazing hosts. If you are a military history buff, be sure to ask Michael about his father's service and his upbringing because of that. I was travelling on a bicycle, and they kept it secure for me while I was touring Skellig and the town. Staying here was one...

While the hotel wasn't the newest or had the biggest rooms, it certainly was one of the cosiest stays of our trip to Ireland. The rooms were clean and seem personal. Mike and Judy are really warm and welcoming people. Judy makes a fine Irish breakfast and while you eat you can glance through Mike's photoalbum from his trip to...

This is a tough one becasue Judy the owner is so lovely and the breakfast with home made soda breadwas terrific. But to be honest the room left a lot to be desired. It was very very small. The door had been removed from the wardrobe, there were two chairs up against the wall - not sure why they were...

We just completed an 18 day car tour of Ireland with stays in more than 10 B+B's. We stayed 1 night with Mike + Judy at The Ferry Boat --very comfortable with a great breakfast and terrific conversation. Well located on the (tiny) main street within 50 meters of the towns 2 pubs. Many people will shuttle bus to Portmagee...
