Oooo I couldn’t let this one slide. This is not a review of the B&B but the cliff viewing platform which sits behind it. Heading south away from Valentia on the Skellig coast road, about 5-10 mins from Portmagee, you’ll find this place with lots of signs for ‘spectacular views’ of the Skelligs, cliffs and so on. At no point...

€4 per person to see the cliff. Not worth it can see it along the road better! They make up the prices as they see you so make sure you don't get I've charged. They say you get a discount on coffee but that's not true all the one price!!! WiFi does not work and the owners do not care!...

I think the place is a hidden gem and worth a visit. Last May, friend and I stayed in another accommodation as we were waiting for the trip to the Skelligs in the next day. In the evening we drove around and found the place. First impression we found the price was a bit expensive but when we walked up...

The views in general everywhere in Kerry in particular are amazing and breathtaking. We were a little surprised at first that we had to pay 4 euros per person - a little steep perhaps.... But then - a lot of work was done to ensure safety both for animals and people......there are many places once on top to view the...

I can't speak for the B&B as we didn't stay there. We followed the signs for 'Kerry's most spectacular cliffs' and arrived here. It was terribly, terribly disappointing. Yes, the view is beautiful. On a clear day you can see the Skelligs, but you can see them from further up the road for free. We were charged €4 per person...

It began with the signs. In the middle of nowhere on the Peninsula, this small town of Portmagee comes up and while in town, you notice signs for the most amazing views of the cliffs of Kerry. They appear personally made but grow in quality the nearer you come. Intrigued, I followed yet another intermidably long road upward. (I'd already...

I think 4 euro per person to see Kerrys most spectacular cliffs is a real rip off. I am sure if the owners were not so greedy and charged a reasonable price to view the cliffs they would get a lot more people in to view them. Also thought the owner was rather pushy in trying to sell her tickets...
