We have just returned from this fantastic hotel. yes the rooms were small but spotless and perfectly adequate, the bed was really comfortable. Lovely view from the balcony, nice area with table and chairs. There is a lovely area downstairs where you can have drinks either alcohol or coffee and nibbles, very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and the food in...

We were booked at the hotel for two nights as part of a bike tour. Our room, on the second floor, had a very fine view of the seaside. The room is large, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom is big. The hotel is not directly on the beach. There are steps to the beach or walk around the street, whichever...

It's great that the Casamar has been awarded a Michelin Star. We've been going to the restaurant for a long time and have always been impressed with the imaginative menus and the superb views of Llafranc from the terrace. The waiting staff probably need to shake off some of their Catalan abruptness for it to flourish further but you will...

We were three women on a self-guided bike tour with accommodations for two nights at Casamar (this was set up by Creative Catalonia as part of the tour package). Service was exceptional. Staff was friendly, accommodating and the food...we are still talking about the food. We had the most wonderful lunch - and despite the fact we were a bit...

I feel like much of what can be said about the Casamar Hotel has to do with timing. My friend and I booked a walking trip through Creative Catalonia (excellent and highly recommended) and this hotel was booked ahead through that service. It is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location and that can not be disputed. That being said,...

Once again a fabulous meal at the Casamar. It really is streets ahead of any other restaurant in Llafranc. The service is polite and not overbearing . With drinks to start, a good bottle of wine, three courses and coffee and liqueurs for two people, expect to pay around 150 euros. Worth every last cent!

The Casamar Hotel is a really good hotel, superb location (fabulous views and very quiet even though its just off the busy beach), great service (family run, by a sophisticated family) and stylish decor. Rooms are well appointed and many have great views. Breakfast on the sunny terrace was superb if simple. So why not five stars? From lunchtime onwards...

If you are staying anywhere on the Costa Brava and you enjoy good food, this place must not be missed. The restaurant terrace has spectacular views over the ridiculously beautiful bay of Llafranc which make the visit worth it in itself, but the food is out of this world. The four of us (two adults, two children, ten & twelve)...

We stayed two nights in one of the best rooms with a terrace overlooking the half moon bay/beach. The room was tiny, minuscule and absolutely not soundproof. Barely acceptable for a single. Sounds from the narrow corridor and the restaurant terrace beneath are loud and clear. People stay up late in this country. No lounge or any place to sit...
