We last stayed here over 40 years ago when it was a pub. Now it is a small hotel as extra rooms have been added. There is always a danger in going back to a place after many years absence but in this case there was no problem. Porthleven is relatively unchanged due to its compact size and no doubt...

Great location. Staff friendly, but have to order everything from bar - little table service, even for drinks during meal. Food ok-ish but not the best we've had in Porthleven this week. White wine of poor standard. Wouldn't avoid the place, but wouldn't rush back either.

The Harbour Inn is exactly that - an Inn. But, the excellent, friendly, customer service, the good food and the nice touches to the rooms were all much better than I expected for the type of accommodation. I would recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I returned for a second visit in July this year. We had a family room with its own front door, so it was quite like a flat. The bedroom was down three steps off the living room, it held a wardrobe and two bedside cabinets and a television on a table. There was no other storage space...

Porthleven is not a cheap place to stay. However it is worth staying there because it is such a fabulous setting. The rooms at the Harbour Inn are named rather than numbered. I stayed in "Trevarno" - a room overlooking the harbour. It really was a superb view. The room was in very good condition, clean and smart. It had...

On arrival received a lovely warm welcome and checking in was a breeze. The room we had looked over the harbour and the view was superb. The room was clean and very well equipped with separate lounge area as well as bedroom and on suit. The food and service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Porthleven is central...

Just got back from a three night stay at this hotel, and cannot wait to return! On arrival we were greeted by the warm and welcoming staff, to our family of four. Set in an idyllic location with a prominent position in the harbour, within easy reach of wonderful beaches and places of interest. Our family room was better than...

The food here was very appropriate for the whole family. The new car very adds a lot and the new interior is lovely. Some of the prices are slightly too high but overall a good experience. I had the gammon which was very well cooked but the food is just good pub food.
