Step back in time 100 years! The rooms was clean but very small! The whole building has an old peoples smell to it. The blankets on the bed smelt very musky. The breakfast was poor"reheated" the staff are all very welcoming, but I would not recommend staying here.

The Lynton House is well located in an elegant terrace with good sea views from the front rooms. My room was clean, spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage space for clothes etc. The bed was large and very cosy. I enjoyed excellent sleep during my 8 nights' stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and service was efficient....

En suite facilities shocking. Breakfast pre cooked and not served until 9 am. No flexibility on this. Owner says it's because husband...

The hotel may be a little worn as many older hotels are but the warmth and welcome couldn't be beaten. The comment made in...

Good location. Very old property that needs a facelift although room was clean. Strange that breakfast is served at 9 am, and only 9am for 24 guests. The food was obviously pre cooked although the bacon seemed to be undercooked.lukewarm breakfast. We were surprised to see a large water cooler in the hallway - for guests use - and wonder...
