We were in room 7, was a nice size, lovely and clean, everything you needed, including a proper hairdryer, not one of those slow one's attached to the bathroom wall. Nice breakfast room, with a great choice and plenty of food. Was made to feel very welcome, like a home from home. Will definitely be staying there again in the...

We booked in for two nights as we were attending a family funeral in the area. We were made very welcome and found the rooms to be well furnished and comfortable. The single room was a little small but more than adequate for a short stay. I would echo the comments already posted about the delicious breakfasts, the friendliness of...

Nice bed and breakfast hotel. Located not far from the train station (5 minute walk) and 30 seconds from the beach. Even better that the town centre is only minutes away as well. Rooms generally spacious and clean as is the hotel throughout. Family run with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast choices are plenty and the full English is...

The thornhill hotel is very clean and comfortable. The owners/staff are very helpful and very hard working. We only stayed for two nights but missed the usual hotel bar or lounge. The weather was not good when we were there and looking round the shops can only be done so often. The very best thing about the hotel is the...

Very helpful and friendly owners who made me feel very welcome and provided really helpful information about local places to eat. Spacious and comfortable room/bed - everything very clean. Breakfast very fresh and well cooked with plenty of choice. The only reasons I didnt give it five stars were because a) I was there on business and needed a desk...

We lived in Teignmouth many years ago and went back to visit friends. Our stay was enjoyable and the only downside was our bedroom was on the road and looked directly into a wall which made the room dark. It was fine for us as we were only there for 2 nights and out most of the time. Any longer...

A great location right on the front of Teignmouth. Like the town itself the Thornhill has a very traditional feel about it. It doesn't have all the mod cons and parking isn't ideal, but it's all about the hospitality. You are a guest and that's how you're made to feel. A very friendly welcome set the scene. The room was...
