We were lucky to find a double room here at short notice and the cost seemed not too bad, but the room itself (2) was very small and dated. The en-suite bathroom door was hard to close and open and almost falling off one of it's hinges so much so that it would not open at one point until we...

Brunswick House is an old townhouse close to the seafront in Teignmouth. I'd booked a double room for the two of us, though the top floor room we were given had a double and a single bed within, odd given that the place was not even half full going by the amount of people at breakfast. However, perhaps we the...

Lovely stay We found this really charming B&B close to the seafront, at good value and with excellent service. The owners, Margrethe and Pete were very welcoming and friendly. They recommended nearby restaurants for the evening (we loved Fresco’s) and our breakfast was generous and superbly cooked by Pete. The B&B is a homely Victorian terrace with beautiful hanging baskets...

I hadn't booked anywhere for my whistlestop in Teignmouth and chanced on this charming little place. Two minutes from the sea front in one direction and restaurants, pubs and shops in the other. A friendly welcome from Margarethe, then breakfast served by Peter. A splendid couple, dong just enough. It isn't 5* but it doesn't claim to be! Lots of...
