This hotel is on the seafront , with amazing sea views. The room was clean and well furnished. The breakfast was good (although the breakfast room needs some music) and it should say vegetarian breakfast on the menu (it is available, but you have to ask). The parking is also convenient. The staff are helpful and friendly. Overall a good...

The carpet in our room was covered in stains, the communal areas were dirty and smelt. Breakfast on the Saturday was poor. I would not recommend this or go back. It needs new management and a total refurbishment.

My sister Angie lockwood booked this hotel for a week for a special occasion Having stayed here 6 years ago i was shocked when i saw the scruffy outside appearance of this hotel now painted an awful blue. Nothing like the pictures on The internet. We were then not surprised how it looked like inside, dated and scruffy. My sister...

Drunk smoking outside was a lovely welcome, later i found out it was the owner! Some lay abouts also working there, keep away. Not tidy, food not great and smoke smell in bar area. Rooms in desperate need of updating.

Despite booking a double room we were given a twin room which made for a very sleepless night. I'm 5'9" and my feet were at the end of the bed. My partner being 6' was hanging off. The mattresses were very soft and overdue for replacement. Perhaps in hindsight I should have raised this but as my partner was a...

This was our second visit to the Bay Hotel, and although the downstairs layout had changed a bit, and the reception area a tiny bit claustrophobic, we still liked it. The staff were un-failingly friendly and helpful. A couple of tips for future visitors. If any have difficulty with stairs, avoid rooms 11 & 12 at the top. It is...
