This B&B is run by Heather and Duncan who are two of the most welcoming people you could wish for. The house, rooms and bathroom were extremely clean and the gardens were beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic; we were even given a menu to complete and asked what time was...

Spent one night with our small dog Lucy. Lovely quaint 500 yr old pretty cottage. Very spacious and comfortable room. Excellent quality breakfast. Made to feel very welcome, especially our dog! Can imagine the gardens would be beautiful in summertime. Would definitely recommend.

impressive looking cottage. warm welcome. cup of tea on arrival. spacious room. only two pubs in the village. lovely quiet place to stay as I am a light sleeper. so quite disappointed to hear the kitchen clock chiming every hour. as our room directly above the kitchen found this to be annoying.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
As dreamy as its name, this is a 16th-century cottage in the village, with deep walls, open fireplaces and flagged floors. The cottage has a garden that blooms as wonderfully as the cottage and, up under the eaves, soft curtains, soothing colours, aromatic oils and delicious beds. Have breakfast in the homely kitchen, or outside on fine days, where lawns and borders drift effortlessly into orchard, fields and hills. An all-year-round delight. ... more   less
