Stayed one night early October with a choir party. Reception well organised and staff throughout very polite and helpful. Room (1st Floor) very clean with adequate facilities. Background traffic noise from main A-road especially with windows open. Would be quieter at rear of hotel, away from road. A small negative was the buffet breakfast - unfortunately, the eggs and bacon... More

Because of the location of the church & reception, this hotel selected itself. There were about 18 of us. We had a meal in the restaurant on the Friday night , a special area set aside for us, and the food was very good. Rooms clean & modern, staff very friendly and helpful. The immediate surrounding area not very scenic,... More

We were passing and had missed lunch so we pulled over on the way to Dorchester. We had stopped for coffee in the past so the quiet bar did not come as a surprise. However, after sampling the food it is a wonder that the place isn't crowded, even in its isolated location. We ordered haddock & chips from the... More

This hotel is about 30 mins by car from weymouth he was very handy as we stayed here for the weymouth 70.3 ironman, staff were lovely and accommodate all participants entering the competition by serving us breakfast at 4am, they were very friendly and the room we stayed in was spacious and very clean, would defiantly stay here again

This hotel is adjacent to a building site but once inside it is well appointed and modern décor. Bedrooms comfortable and plenty storage space, Air conditioned. Lift to first floor bedrooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Restaurant is excellent though food is available in the bar also. Breakfast is adequate but not exciting, self service buffet. Hotel position is... More

Stayed at the hotel for three nights. The location is on high ground just off the Yeovil to Dorchester main A road and on fine days the views are excellent over superb Dorset Countryside. Do not let the external appearance put you off. This is a fairly new hotel which will not ( or should not ) win any prizes... More

On a sunny Sunday we visited the Carvery, one of the excellent outlets at this establishment. Succulent roasts (choice of beef or pork on this day) accompanied by the freshest of vegetables, all exquisitely cooked and served with the appropriate condiments. A two course dinner (the second consisting of superb desserts) was priced at GBP 16.40 p.p.and was worth every... More

Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights this week. Had a very warm welcome and the room was brilliant. The hotel has a very large car park and had no problem parking. Room was very clean, bathroom had shower gels etc. Very pleased with this hotel and would stay again. Highly recommend this hotel
