Just fancied a night away, so we booked a bed, breakfast and dinner package for a night as a treat. Great choice! Beautiful room, tranquil setting, marvellous food, great staff. Only slight criticism: no Internet access in the rooms away from the main building.

Recently visited with family for lunch, and we decided to return for the evening and stay overnight for dinner. Booked Plum Cottage which was extremely comfortable, well equipped and having its own patio. Luckily the weather was beautiful for October and it was pleasant sitting outside prior to eating. The meal was good, very good, and service attentive without being...

We drove off for a weekend in Norfolk where we haven't been before and by chance found this country hotel after driving about 300 miles. We were tired and hungry and I must confess to being a bit grumpy by this time. However, we received a very warm welcome from James who is an exceptional young man well versed in...

A smll hotel with excellent food, warm atmosphere, and friendly staff. The log running fires create a lovely atmosphere at this time of year, and the food is excellent. The rooms are good, though the coffee is too weak! Very helpful and friendly staff. Don't miss out on this little gem.

We ate outside for lunch on a beautiful summers day.The staff were very attentive without being intrusive. The chef came out of his kitchen to ask or comments we may want to share about the food. The ambiance of the place was super, and the decor is magnificent. Its all very tasteful but with a mixture of antique and contemporary, its fresh. I...
