Had a coffee outside in the garden as we were walking along the river and thought it was a good time to stop. However, the garden is dirty with litter everywhere, the bin full to the brim. There was dirty crockery from other people clearly from the night before as we stopped for coffee at 10.30am! The furniture dirty, the...

Visited before walking around the nearby lake. Good, prompt friendly service. Ordered Piri Piri chicken but changed the menu description which was accepted by Terdai without any fuss. He gave us excellent service. Will be returning.

Having used the Manor Inn some years ago, and vowing never to return as the place was grimy, service was poor, staff surly and food mediocre , it took some convincing from friends for me to give the newly refurbished Manor Inn a second chance. I went with an open mind and thought the menu had some promise. The place...

2 stars is to generous. I went the other week for breakfast. Took half an hour to get our food order taken and then waited a further half an hour for a food. Which we went to see where it was to find 2 members of staff having a coffee. Needless to say we left!! It's awful

Visited Monday lunchtime. Was told the place had just been refurbished but found the place rather shabby. Sticky floor, tables and menus. Un-friendly staff who looked like they didn't want to be there. No customer service at all. 45 min wait for food with no more than 10 cars in the car park! Would hate to think how they would cope...

Took the dog for a walk along The Wey and popped into The Manor for a drink. As we did so the heavens opened and the rain deluged down. Despite this The Manor refused to allow the dog to enter the bar area so we had to stand outside under a canopy while we waited for a taxi to take...

Absolutely shocking service, all young staff there that were shouting to each other about 'how wasted' they were going to get, in between going to watch the sport on the TV! Noone came to take our order so went to do it ourselves at the bar after half an hour of waiting!! Food arrived looking burnt to a crisp and...

Restaurant was virtually empty and although there were a lot of staff milling and we had to wait 30 minutes from ordering drink to receiving it. The tables were grubby and felt sticky When the food arrived, the chips were burnt and the mushrooms were extremely watery. The chicken wings were only just warm, and the steak, although medium rare...

We have been eating in the restaurant for years as it's a conveniently close location to home (8 minutes' walk). We weren't usuing the hotel facilities. We pre-booked for the restaurant at 8 pm on Saturday 25/6 and arrived just before this to find three couples waiting to be acknowledged. The 'greeter' eventually arrived after six minutes with no apology...
