Stayed with my partner and our dog for a weekend. The two ladies who run the pub could not do enough for you, really friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic, Breakfast was excellent and the dog got a sausage too!. Evening meal was great value for money and the location was superb as it was only a nice 20 minute...

A group of us booked in for the Valentines meal at the White horse as there was a nicely put together menu at a very reasonable price. We were all very happy with our food, and the staff worked really hard on a very busy night. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was served promptly with no big...

Called there for a pint or two as the four of us was visiting the Last of the summer wine area for the first time. Very nice and very friendly welcome. Ended up having a bar snack which was very nice indeed.

Stayed here when attending `The South` concert at the Picturedrome. Rooms were nice and warm on a very cold night, nice breakfast, Taxi around £5 each way into Holmfirth. `Lauren` (think was her name), working the bar and doing breakfast was lovely and very helpful. Would stay here again.

The landlady informed me that they had recently taken over in July and for me, the establishment is needing some TLC. Room was ok, bed and bedding good, but nowhere to hang clothes and there was a leaking sink in the...

My partner and I spent one night here so we could attend a musical event at nearby Holmfirth and in all honesty from arriving to leaving, was an experience to say the least. We were greeted by a not so welcoming bar lady watching darts on TV and a empty pub with zero atmosphere; not to mention the overwhelming stench...

A beautiful little place with the most gorgeous home cooked food. The landlady and staff were very nice and more than happy to speak about its past in the Last of the Summer Wine. Definitely recommend!

This was our 2nd meal at the white horse and has shown the continuous warm welcome with smiles and excellent service. Myself my partner and our 4 year old had a meal each. Beautiful homemade food with equal service! Absolutely family friendly and would highly recommend! We'll definitely be visiting again!

Having a great time in West Yorkshire. We came for the Yorkshire Sculpture Triangle and have enjoyed everything we have seen. One night we found the White Horse and stayed for supper. The Landlady gave us a very warm welcome and was very helpful. The food was of a good standard and was served with a smile. We stayed for...
