Kate and I stayed her a couple of weeks ago while on a sculpture course nearby. Anne was very welcoming and informative showing us round every facility and items on offer, she is , quite rightly , very house proud. Everything is in immaculate condition, well maintained and beautifully presented. The breakfasts live up to their amazing reputaion and the...

If you are visiting Holmfirth for any reason, you must stay here!!! We had a room in the Lodge and you could not wish for any better, it will certainly be one to go to the top of our best B&B's list. The breakfast was to die for, I had the smoked haddock with poached egg - GREAT! and a...

Super friendly helpful owners and staff, lovely accommodation, beautifully appointed rooms including lounge and dining room, and great home cooked breakfast. All in a fine Victorian house overlooking the valley. Definitely the place to stay and soak up the atmosphere, with places to sit in the garden if fine.

We stayed for two nights this last weekend, welcome and ATD during stay was great, breakfast was really good. NIce and easily located for Holmfirth, bit of a steep walk back up from town, but on £5 in a cad, which are plentiful.

Enjoyed our one night stay....beautiful location and home. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was freshly prepared to order (you get a choice of foods, and times the evening before) and was delicious and generously served in a delightful dining room. Very helpful and friendly hosts! Highly recommend!

A wonderful quiet guesthouse within a short walk of the town centre. Rooms are large and comfortable. Hosts friendly and helpful. Wonderful view over Holme valley from dining room. The cooked breakfasts were particularly good.

Close to the centre, elevated position, spacious room. Hosts were the most caring and the breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room. The breakfast itself was very well cooked from a high quality ingredients, lots of extras and the table was laid beautifully! Couple of areas could be improved though- the bedding (duvet and pillows) in a boutique guesthouse...

Many thanks for your kind review. We're so pleased you enjoyed our home, our breakfast and our hosting. We have taken on board your comments about additional cleaning. Regarding the bedding we made a conscious decision not to not use down or feather in the rooms, purely from a health point of view. Asthma is a growing condition in the...

A beautiful house in a fabulous location, excellent quality accommodation and the owners are lovely! The views are exceptional from the front of the house and the town centre is just a ten minute walk away, however it is uphill on the way back so don't have too many beers or wines on your night out !! 've too many beers

My wife and I spent a comfortable two nights in this B&b. The rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished and the bed was comfortable. The shower room was a bit on the small side which meant that only one person could use it at a time. Breakfast is a major selling point for this establishment with a lovely selection of...
