Friendly atmosphere. Good food and beer. I will go again. Views and surrounding area are spectacular. Clean fresh air outside which is good for cleansing the lungs. A burbling brook near to the front of the pub just adds to the ambience

Although it's been a good few years since I was here last, the ownership changes frequently, the food was gorgeous! It was still as warm and snug as I remember it but with a few new and modern touches to the actual room where you dine which is nice. The staff there were exceptional and made us feel very welcome...

We stopped for a drink as we were driving in our camper in the Highlands and ended up staying for the evening and a delicious dinner. It was the Scotland and night we were looking for. Euan was great and made us feel very welcome. We had a very funny and entertaining evening. Went back for breakfast the next morning...

After a long, but enjoyable drive and a busy day we arrived at the hotel. First impressions weren't great - a rusty BBQ outside and a blue corrugated entrance porch. It needs a little TLC and external investment! The welcome was friendly and helpful and the staff were very accommodating. The double room was clean and had a good ensuite....

Having stayed here during the Great Outdoors Challenge in 2009 I am fortunate enough to have a very good friend living in the nearby Strathdon with his wife. Myself and the good lady visited over the first weekend of April and enjoyed some rare Highland sunshine which meant sitting outside with the dogs. Euan our host and hotel manager was...

The breakfasts were well cooked and well presented, certainly filled you for the day. Best of all were he evening meals. Reasonably priced and cooked to perfection. not to mention a nice selection...
