Stayed at Rose Cottage in a large room with a really comfortable bed (memory foam mattress). Slept fantastically well!! Handy for the West Highland Way, this was our third visit to Rose Cottage. Breakfast was great - really well cooked - and a warm welcome was extended. Would be happy to return.

Thankyou Muriel for a lovely stay at your B&B! Our twin room was very comfortable with lots of room to spread out. Bathroom was a good size with a lovely hot shower. Breakfast next morning was delicious and Muriel happily cooked to request. Gluten free bread was available.

Lovely spacious family room - bonus as there was just the two of us. Very comfortable. Breakfast was by far the tastiest I have had on the WHW so far. Wifi was 'advertised' but it wasn't discoverable on our devices, didn't bother to chase up as 3G was available. No TV in the room, we used our phones to catch...

Nice B&B in a terrific location just off the West Highland Way. We had a huge room at the back with both a tub and a separate shower, it was warm and comfortable and close to the Drovers Inn where we had our evening meal. Breakfast was good as was the welcome. We would have given it 5 stars but...

Booked an en suite bedroom with a bath but when we turned up after the long walk in the evening the hot tap wasn't working! When we complained the owner was unpleasant and defensive. She never apologised and argued that we didn't ask for the bath. There was nothing she could do about it! We were very disappointed as we...

Not really an enthusiastic welcome in this b&b. The room was ok but nothing special. A bit outdated overall. Breakfast was ok but a bit greasy. No packed lunches for walking the West Highland way. Close to Drovers Inn which is a nice place to eat and relax. Wifi didn't work.

This was the 4th night walking the West Highland Way. We arrived a little late after a gruelling day's walk, Muriel was very welcoming. The room we had was spacious and clean, comfy beds and drinks provided. Muriel is obviously used to walkers, and set us up the following morning with a fabulous well cooked breakfast. The other plus is...

My friend and I stayed at Rose Cottage whilst walking the West Highland Way in May 2016. We were not disappointed. The en-suite bedroom was spacious and well equipped. The owner was very welcoming and she is obviously well used to walkers. Good breakfast. Good value. Would highly recommend.

As I met people who would spent the night over there, and I didn't had a place to stay yet. I asked if she still had a spare room. I was lucky. You can leave your wet gear downstairs, where she supplies newspaper to dry out your boots. I got a nice big twin room. Nice shower Big twin beds....

I wasn't too sure what to expect when I booked after having read some of the other reviews but we had a lovely stay! The room was large and clean with a very comfortable bed. The décor in our en suite bathroom was a bit dated but it didn't matter. We had breakfast in the morning which was cereal, fruit...
