We booked this B&B through Visit Scotland and were advised that it is a little way out of Lochcarron. But the 6 mile drive was worth it. Set high overlooking Skye, it is absolutely stunning. The twin room was very spacious, and clean with tea and coffee The beds very comfortable and gave us a good nights sleep after a...

We stayed here for a night with our 4 year old daughter. B&B was spotlessly clean, spacious and very well located at the edge of the bay. Beautiful view from the room. The host took our preference for breakfast the previous day and cooked our choice of food excellently. Our daughter also had lots of toys to play and we...

Thanks for your kind review. We are a bit remote and like you most folk like that and get a quiet nights sleep. Pleased your daughter enjoyed the toys. Maybe see you again if you are in these parts. Thanks

Stayed a night @ Lotta Dubh on 28th July. Ardanaeskan is 6 miles or so out of Lochcarron along quiet country roads with beautiful scenery. Lotta Dubh is well signposted though so no possibility of getting lost. We stayed in the twin room which was lovely, very spacious with a small sofa to sit & watch tv.T he bathroom was...

The trip along the lochcarron to get to the B&B was striking with the setting sun and dark clouds. We stayed in the family room which gave us an overhead view on a million stars and a window with a view on the Cuillin Hills on the Isle of Skye bathing in a bright full moonlight. The next day we proceedeed...

What a find! This B&B is set near the end of a quiet road with amazing views across Loch Carron and out to Skye. We bicycled into Loch Carron for supper. A beautiful ride but got ourselves into a pickle and had to telephone our hosts for a rescue. They were so kind and obliging about coming into town and...

What a beautiful place, scenery to die for especially the sunset over the Cuillin Hills on Skye. We had the family room which was very clean, well equipped and furnished with great views across Loch Carron. Breakfast was very good indeed with a large selection. Lotta Dubh is certainly off the beaten track but staying there was certainly worth the...

Not easy to find and a bit »off-center«, this place is situated in the awe-inspiring landscape of Loch Carron. From the spacious an comfortable family room you have a fascinating view of the shilouette of the Ile of Skye, and at night you hear the peaceful dabble of Loch Carron´s tide coming in. In the evening we saw Eagles and...

A really nice, comfortable bed and breakfast. We stayed in the twin room, the smaller of the two rooms, but it had plenty of space for a little seating area with a comfie sofa. A cut above the usual b&b or hotel room. Nice views from the bedroom window; spectacular views of Plockton and Skye from the dining room. Ardaneaskan...

We stayed here as part of a months long trip arround Scotland. Everything about this place was good I could not fault it in any way. The room was large & well apointed. Breakfast was taken with a great view of the loch. New place, well done.
