Early last September, 2015, I stayed for three nights at the Rockvilla Guest House and enjoyed myself so much that I was delighted to be able to stay there again when I made a return visit to the west coast of Scotland several weeks later. I knew as soon as I walked in the door that all was pleasant and... More

A very last minute booking but what luck we had in finding Rockvilla ! It was pouring with rain, blowing a gale when we arrived. Peter & Wendy greeted us with open arms, welcoming us inside. We felt so at home right from the first moment we arrived. They could not do enough for us, we actually felt like family.... More

I stayed here for a couple of nights through working close by. The couple who own the guesthouse are doing a fantastic job. Very welcoming and informative. The room, sorry full size flat I was allocated was brilliant to unwind in after a day's work. Very clean and spacious. The Breakfast is generous with plenty to choose from and the... More

Just returned from the most wonderful stay at the Rockvilla in Lochcarron. Everything was absolutely wonderful: Our bedroom was lovely, cosy and warm with the most amazing view of the loch. Nothing was too much trouble for Wendy and Peter. It was the perfect base for touring the beautiful highlands and Skye. Our hearty breakfast there would set us up... More

Great hosts. Great food and wonderful location. The rooms are large and comfortable - most en-suite. Internet available and easy parking across the road. The views are fantastic and - if you have a car - other attractions are an easy drive. Plockton is approximately thirty minutes drive.

One of the warmest welcomes we experienced during our stay in Scotland. This guest house combines the best of a B&B and small hotel. The service was friendly and personalized. The rooms were clean and well appointed, with a big bathroom and comfortable beds.

We called at short notice, and were welcomed as an early arrival. Spotless room with large bathroom. With limited places to eat in the village we opted for an in house dinner. Stunning Michelin quality food, with quality local produce. Not to be missed, along with the substantial breakfast set us up for our trip across the Highlands
