Basic hotel. Rooms, clean, bathtub could have used a little more cleaning. Staff is friendly. Slept well. Bar was closed, therefore not able to tell what the noise level would be. All amenities worked well. It's right on Main St, which does have some street noise. Good location, friendly town nestled between the mountains.
During our 6 week motorcycle trip thru BC, we were headed to Lilooet from Penticton and called the Hotel Victoria to inquire about a room. I was assured they had rooms available and reserved a room with 2 queen beds. After a long, wet day we arrived at the hotel, only to be told, 'Oh, can't honor your reservation after all’. This left us in quite a bind, trying to find somewhere in the early evening when most of the rooms in town were already booked. Thanks to the understanding clerk at the Mile O Motel we were able to get the last room and weren't stranded after all. Never rely on a reservation at the hotel!
We staid here for one night on August 1st 2018, traveling from Jasper down to Horseshoe Bay. Keys had to be picked up at the next door shop. Large parking at the rear of the building. Located on Main Street, but not much noise from the street due to the good working airco. Also wifi was good. No breakfast. A small number of restaurants in the vicinity though. Room was good and very clean. I'd recommend it.
The hotel has zero extras. No Kleenex,no cups etc. Sometimes smaller hotels have items at front desk you can borrow such a hair dryer. When i called front desk no one answered. When I went downstairs no one was there ,I called out and someone finally came. When I asked she said well i don't see one here so I guess not. We didnt get room freshed up during day.No beds made or fresh towels. The floor is dirty and tub has mildew growing in corner. The sheets has what I hope is a stain and not actual dirty stains. Band on the one night played well into thr night past 1 ,making it hard to sleep At this point just thankful there weren't bedbugs. ;)
I got what I paid for. Nothing special. No microwave or coffeemaker. Beds were average - not super comfy. There were paint stains on the bedside table, bedding and furnishing was outdated. No ice machine. However each room had individual cable and internet which was cool! Room was clean-ish. There’s a bar directly beneath, that wasn’t too bad. I would probably stay somewhere else next time. It wasn’t a comfortable stay.
clean, quiet, cheap. Mattress not especially comfy. Not sure why this is listed in the BNB listings. It is a motel, not a BnB. Cafe D'Oro (part of hotel D' Oro) has a good breakfast. For the price ($65) it was ok for one night
This is not your 5 star hotel. If you are use to higher class accommodation then this would be a shock to your system at first glance. However, the rooms are basic, spacious and clean. The parking lot in back is covered by security cameras and the train whistles will give you an early wake up call. That's not an exclusive to the Victoria Hotel though. It's an amenity offered by the CNR to all who come to rest in Lillooet. If you heed the call you will be up early enough to beat the rush to the cookhouse restaurant, just down the street.
We stayed here just one night in September. We booked online shortly beforehand, and turned up around 8pm. Checking in was OK, the room was comfortable and quite clean with plenty of towels. Plenty of parking at the back with cameras. Reasonably priced for the quality.
It's a good hotel for passing. The hotel is old, but our rooms were clean and the beds were okay. The AC worked beautifully as well. The hotel room smells perfectly fine, but the hallway and lobby smell like an ash tray.
Not what we were expecting. Rundown, not very clean, smelly room, tiny pillows, uncomfortable bed... Grime in tub soap dish. Nobody working at front desk for the two days we were there. Had to check in through the liquor store. There was good wifi though!
