Had a lovely weekend glamping in the wonderful camping arch. Everything we needed was included; tea coffee making facilities, superb shower and comfy bed even camping table and chairs. Naomi the proprietor is very friendly as was the helpful cleaning lady who helped us find our way to the site and advised us of the best pubs to try. We went to the Rose and crown in Burwash about two miles away. Ticehurst is an equally lovely village in the opposite direction. Only issue we had was finding the site from the main road - could do with a slight larger sign as the word CAIRDS is a little difficult to spot when driving. Will definitely think of returning again with some other camping friends.

It was getting late so we decided to tent at this campground, it was close to the highway. The sites were spacious and clean. We choose a site along the River. What was different than others, there is a restaurant attached to the campground, where if you want, they serve meals and do take out. Washrooms were also clean.

Nice out of the way campground, not far from the highway and it even has a restaurant out front, place is winding down for season no very little grass maintenance being done making this place rather wet.
It is quiet at this time of the year here, but it does allow freedom then to walk anywhere, it sits on the Saint John river, and apparently this camp has flooded a few times, caretaker lives of site so we had to wait for him to get there to check us in, he is also pretty NO on any discounts, 3 way sites around 55$ a night for 30 amp, wifi did not work, and sites need some gravel to not only level them up , but also stop you from sinking in, give them a try and you decide, cheers

We've been visiting this campground for approx 10 years now during the local music festival which is within walking distance of our camper. There are a limited number of fully serviced sites but several other sites available as well (if you can do without service)
It boarders the beautiful St-John river and has several amenities, including a swimming pool, laundry facilities, licensed dining room & lounge and also a dumping station. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating.
