Needed to spend a couple of nights in Perth-Andover and searched for possible places to stay as we were driving along the highway, came across the Fort Road Motel and after a quick call we were assured of a room and even though not arriving until late at night the manager told us that he would wait for us to get the key - great guest interaction! The room is what you expect in basic motel room, two queen beds and bathroom. However the bed was very comfortable and the bedding was very clean and good quality. The bathroom was large and the shower worked very well along, great hot water, with ample towels and large mirror, again all very clean. The room has a very effective, but very quiet, air conditioner that was able to be used as a heater. While there is no coffee maker in the room (you can get a coffee in the office, or there is a Tim Hortons is close by) there is a small refrigerator that works well, again very quiet. All in all for the price and comfort the Fort Road Motel is well worth looking at if you find yourself staying in the area.

We had been on the road for 13 hours stopped here for the night, good idea as the rooms were fresh and clean, the bed give us a real good nights sleep and ready for the rest of the trip. real easy to find as it is right of the trans Canada. You can gas up and buy what you need just across the parking lot. it is worth a check out.

Room was basic, but clean and comfortable. Room had microwave, fridge, and excellent air conditioning (which was ice cold - which was appreciated during heat wave). Excellent price ($79) in comparison to all other hotels from Edmundston to Fredericton price gouging (all $200 and up).

A perfectly good motel for a short stay. In a convenient location if you are travelling through New Brunswick (or a more leisurely eastern Canada drive). Clean and spacious rooms with friendly and helpful staff. The one drawback was that I found the beds a little small and a bit hard. I certainly would stop here again.

A great stop on our way across to the East. Clean rooms with no carpets (always my iky thoughts when traveling), soft sheets, a firm mattress and no carpets. Friendly staff who smiled even when we arrived way past the office closing. We will definitely be stopping there again, as we go east a few times a year. They also allowed our dog which is hard to find!

I travel every summer from Montreal, Quebec to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. I've been staying at the Fort Road Motel for many years and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. It's the welcome I receive each year that makes me keep returning. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff couldn't be more helpful. I need help unloading my luggage and there is always a ,pleasant, helpful person to oblige. It's a big part of my holiday.

the rooms was nice we had a fridge and microwave nice 32" flat screen tv lots of channels, the beds were somewhat comfey we were in the upstairs room. The down side was don't think they ever moped or dusted cause cause the flores were filthy and the ceiling fan had a lot of dust which I cleaned myself and my wife cleaned the floors then one day I was watching tv and my wife was in the shower and the maid or some woman just opened the door and handed me towels never nocked nothing anyways then when we left I lifted the bed to do a last min check there was a lot of dust bunnys and even a full can of keiths beer not opened but covered in dust anyways long story short would stay there again cause of the price but they need better cleaning skills and invest in a mop or a wet Swiffer .

We booked 2 rooms here for a family reunion nearby. There were only 2 hotels in town so not sure how the other one is but this one was just ok. Room was very large, and bathroom looked recently and nicely remodeled. The bathtub however was very slippery, they should add something to the bottom. My mother's room had a stand up shower, not a tub style, and they really liked it. I will say that they had the softest towels I've ever had at a hotel, even luxury hotels!

The room looked very clean, especially the bathroom, but some of the knobs were broken off the dresser. There was a little fridge and microwave in the room, but no breakfast was offered. In fact when my boyfriend asked about it, the guy who checked us in laughed at him! Is breakfast not usually offered in Canada as it is in the USA? He directed us to a local restaurant which we found would be closed the next day as it was Sunday. Annoying.

The beds were very firm but ok, the pillows were terrible though. And the blinds on the window let in a LOT of the light from outside. The real kicker was the AC. I know it's Canada, maybe it doesn't get that hot much but it was August and very warm and the AC was way up near the ceiling in the corner. Bizarre. My bf climbed on a chair to turn it on and it still didn't work great. We couldn't see the controls so maybe that's why.

I have to be honest....sitting on the edge of a main road... I was not sure about staying here. Glad I did though. Friendly management and the room was spotless. Super clean. I stayed 3 nights. Highly recommended.
